Cataclysm Patch 22/11/18

Hey all,

The new version that has gone live is v. 65330.

With this build we were hoping to fixing online lag. Our investigations have led us to reveal that the online lag is a series of multiple issue all piled up. We've made a few addresses to how we send and receive network information between players but the process is going to be an incremental one where every patch should make online play a bit smoother.

  • Gravedigger (Denizen) - No longer forces evil characters to use it.

  • AI should no longer be prioritising mules as much as it was.


Other
  • Some instances where files weren't writing correctly have been resolved.
  • Issues surrounding network synchronisation improved.
  • Cult of the Damned - Changed Denizens text to reflect their new behaviour.
  • Cult of the Damned - No longer waits until the turn after all denizens have been defeated to trigger the win game scenario.
  • Cult of the Damned - No longer waits for the player to move the denizens multiple times if one has already reached the plain of peril to trigger the lose game scenario.
  • Fixed an issue where characters that had been beaten by the Sentinel or failed to pass through the Portal of Power were not 'encounterable' by other characters.
