[p]Since the first playtests, we’ve combed through every inch of the station to improve everything we could: visuals, interface, content, consistency, and overall game feel… In short, The RIFT has evolved a lot in preparation for this Next Fest. Here’s a look at what we’ve already revamped in-depth thanks to you: [/p]
  • [p]Visual and behavioral improvements to all gameplay elements[/p]
  • [p]A fully reworked main menu background: now set in a spaceship hangar[/p]
  • [p]A total visual overhaul of maps and assets — mountains, buildings, stations, and scenery — for better coherence and overall environment quality, with more detail in shapes and textures[/p]
  • [p]A full revamp of the 14 tutorial maps[/p]
  • [p]1 brand new campaign map, alongside 2 existing ones that have been entirely reworked for the occasion[/p]
  • [p]In Freefly mode: 3 new environments also featured in the campaign maps (Planet Erida Delta2, Moon Voss, Asteroids Craxis Array)[/p]
  • [p]Complete overhaul of the main menu interface and all UI elements[/p]
  • [p]First pass of ship customization (just the beginning — more to come)[/p]
  • [p]Improved leaderboard[/p]
  • [p]Implementation of a player profile[/p]
  • [p]Early version of player stats integrated into the profile[/p]
  • [p]Improved in-game HUD: clearer, more informative, without cluttering the screen[/p]
  • [p]Upgraded photo mode[/p]
  • [p]New soundtrack playlist (temporary placeholder for now)[/p]
  • [p]Enhanced visual effects on the ship[/p]
  • [p]Major optimization pass[/p]
  • [p]Tons of content uploaded across our social media[/p]
  • [p]Total redesign of our Steam page visuals[/p]
  • [p]Brand-new logos and banners for The RIFT[/p]
