Next Fest has begun—time to check out the updated Momento demo!
[p]Hello all! It’s an exciting time for us because Steam Next Fest is starting RIGHT NOW![/p][p][/p][p]![]()
[/p][p]It means that we’ve got a lovely updated and polished Momento demo for you, with a bunch of new features, including: [/p]![]()
[/p][p]Because there are so many great games in Next Fest, games really need support from their communities to really get visible, so if you would like to help Momento, here’s a few concrete ways to do so: [/p]
- [p]Localization into 10 languages ( English, Japanese, German, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, French and Korean)[/p]
- [p]A puzzle hint system juuuust in case you get stuck[/p]
- [p]Clearer UI to show what puzzles aren’t available due to the Momentos selected (sorry, Teddy—we’ll have to wait until the full game!)[/p]
- [p]Improved readability of items while you’re holding them. This way you can easily see what state the item is in before you’ve placed it![/p]
- [p]A zoom out button so you can view the entire room[/p]
- [p]Icon glyphs that match your controller (it’s the little things that matter)[/p]
- [p]A tutorial for Creative Mode so you can learn how to dive deep into it[/p]
- [p]Steam Deck optimization (still waiting on the official word from Valve!)[/p]
- [p]Wishlist the game! This tells Steam the game is worth paying attention to, and then helps it get recommended to new people in places like the Discover Queue.[/p]
- [p]Play the demo! This may seem obvious, but amount of time played is tracked and is also super valuable to us. It lets us know how people are engaging with the game, if it tracks with our expectations, and Steam pays attention too. [/p]
- [p]If you can, stream the demo or make videos about it. We can only reach so many people, but streams and videos are a great way to get the word out there to audiences we haven't met yet! Don’t stream? Ask your favorite streamer to play Momento![/p]
- [p]Tell your friends! Word of mouth is just invaluable. This can mean telling folks in person or posting about the game on social media. Please tag us if you do, we love to see how you decorate your rooms and would love to share it.[/p]
