Map Visibility Improvements on the Horizon!
Hello, travellers,
As we approach Q2, we couldn't be happier to share some exciting news with you!
Many of you have shared concerns about visibility issues, particularly regarding tracks and other elements on the Ticket to Ride maps. Simultaneously, others have praised the level of detail, dynamic animations, and immersive aspects of the current maps.
Having tried to accommodate both ends of the spectrum on a single map, we have reached the conclusion that any simplification takes away from the immersion that some of you like, and at the same time, the immersive direction takes away from the simplicity that an equally valuable segment of you prefer.
As such, we have decided to introduce a second map and give you the option to toggle between the two. You will have the current immersive option, but also a simplified one to play with!
This new simplified map will offer a streamlined, user-friendly interface that makes it easier to see and understand the game board, without compromising on the strategic depth that Ticket to Ride is known for. This should not only address concerns related to colourblind accessibility but also ensure that every player can fully enjoy the game. We're aiming to release it this Q2 2024, and we'll do our best to ensure it meets your expectations.
We’d like to thank every member of our community who took the time to share their constructive feedback, as this has been invaluable in guiding us toward this exciting new phase of development.
