New Art, New Demo, New Meat

[p]Hey there, sausage fiends -[/p][p]We've been busy working behind the scenes on all sorts of meaty chunks, and we are absolutely thrilled to unveil our brand-new banners and store art, all handcrafted by the incredibly talented Alex Bertram Powell ( http://www.alexbpart.com/ )[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
[p](Just a sampling of the many many characters Alex has done design work for.)[/p]
[p][/p][p]Go take a stroll through the store page and check out the new coat of paint![/p][p][/p][p]Also, just a little thing - the Steam Next Fest Demo is LIVE![/p][p]If you haven't taken Dunderbeck for a meat spin yet, now is the time. We're there! Participating! In the digital flesh![/p][p][/p][p]Now, how you can help:[/p][p]The Steam algorithms are hungry and (despite our best efforts to force-feed them rat sausages), they only consume engagement. To help us convince our robot overlords that the world craves more high quality sausage media:[/p][p][/p][p]1. Please wishlist the game! It makes such a big difference![/p][p]2. Play the demo![/p][p]3. Leave a comment/review![/p][p]4. Tell us what you think in the community pages![/p][p][/p][p]Let's show those ones and zeroes how this sausage is made :D[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you for reading. I love you. Eat creatures and grind them into pieces or use them as weapons in autobattler Dunderbeck

I quite enjoy inventory management and autobattlers and Dunderbeck definitely takes the cake as one of the absolute weirdest I've played.

Demo Bug Fixes: The First

[p]Thank you so much to everyone that has left feedback on bugs or quirks that have been found in playing the demo! As of now, here are the bugs that have been tackled.[/p]
  • [p]Removed some debug commands that found their way into the public demo.[/p]
  • [p]Removed ability to click buttons when the almanac is open[/p]
  • [p]Made escape key exit the almanac[/p]
  • [p]Made main menu not require an additional button press if entire animation was watched[/p]
  • [p]Reduced some dialogue that was just too dang long[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some typos/duplicate text in dialogues[/p]
  • [p]Fixed bug that caused chewing sounds to stop playing after a few items were eaten (sorry)[/p]
  • [p]Add a couple additional helper arrows to make sure people can find the sewer[/p]
  • [p]Add ability to disable controller rumble[/p]
  • [p]Fix window placement inconsistencies[/p]
[p]If you see any of these in the future - or if you find anything new - please let me know in a Steam Community post or on Discord! Thanks![/p]

Dunderbeck Demo OUT NOW!

[p]Bring a slice of Cincinnati home with you in our new demo - eat some rats, eat a unicorn, puke (and then eat that puke). It's all here. Well, two towns' worth of it, at least. Consider it an appetizer.[/p][p]Still wondering what fresh heck this is?[/p][p]For the uninitiated (and those with surprisingly strong stomachs): you'll step into the boots of the new Dunderbeck, a part-exterminator, part-butcher, tasked with forcing the fractured city of Cincinnati back together, one meal at a time. The city's been separated into more bizarre townships than you can shake a meat cleaver at, and it's up to your... gastronomic experimentation to unite them.[/p][p]Wander through the fragrant halls of Porkopolis, home to the Department of Meats and Sanitation. Then do some business in Bahnhof, a bustling hub for merchants peddling their... goods. And, of course, delve into the charmingly putrid sewers and suspiciously vibrant forests, where creatures both "magical" and "mundane" await their fate (while your stomach awaits them!)[/p][p]Prepare yourself for a truly digestible experience: over 120 recipes, each requiring one of over 120 items. And yes, every single one can be used as a weapon. Or eaten. We dare you.[/p][p]Alright, you've read enough. Go on, download the demo[/p][p](And if you are still hungry for more, consider wishlisting the full game!)[/p]
