Portuguese (BR) and Spanish Localization!

Hey everyone, I'm happy to announce that Pesticide Not Required is now available in Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish, allowing more players to experience the game in their native language!

Massive shoutout to Samuel Santana (Jhnd on Discord) for localizing the game to Brazilian Portuguese, and to Chris from the dev team for the Spanish version!

Patch for 3/25/2025

Hey everyone! I've been rolling out some changes since the big update, I just finished off the last of them so here are the official patch notes.

Changes:

Made the Fusions menu viewable from the Merchant shop (first, click on the bag in the shop to open your inventory)
You can no longer buy more seeds than will max out your weapon level, fixing issues of accidentally over-buying weapon seeds and harvesting an undesired weapon after a fusion
Adjusted shop rerolling to scale lower in price and cap out at a cost of 5000, allowing more attempts when trying to get specific weapons
Fixed an issue where the game speed option could apply incorrectly in certain cases
Fixed an issue where a farming plot could become stuck during harvesting and no longer be usable
Reduced visual effect of the Dimensional Slash attack to make it less jarring
Fixed cat animation flickering
Adjusted weapon icons to be consistent across all UI in the game
Added a dedicated ribbit button (because I just felt like it). Press 'R' on keyboard or D-Pad up on gamepad to use it
Added Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish localization (separate announcement about this coming soon)!

Content Update - Weapon Fusions and Challenges!

Hey everyone! We're super excited to launch this new content update and hear everyone's feedback.

This update brings a new mechanic into the game - weapon fusions! Upon maxxing out the two required weapons, you'll be presented with the option to fuse them into a new type of super-powered weapon. Weapon fusion info can be found at any time by clicking the new 'Fusions' option in the pause menu.

Along with this new mechanic, we have added 10 fusion weapons to the game:

Dimensional Slash
Shovel
Meteor Smash
Sweeping Slash
Wind Bombs
Mole Hat
Fairy Tango
Devil's Fork
Tidal Wave
Tadpole Burst

We've also added new, extra-difficult challenges to the game for hardcore players to attempt. These challenges are only visible once all regular in-game achievements are completed. Get out there and fill up your trophy shelf if you dare face the task!
