Developer Diary #29

[p]Brave Ones![/p][p]We are happy to present a new issue of the “Developer Diary”![/p][p]For all those eager to learn what changes and innovations await the world of Singoru, we are ready to lift the veil.[/p][p]In this issue, we’ll reveal two more heroes coming to the Pure Soul Portal, as well as a brand-new armor set.[/p]
Update: Pure Soul Portal
[p]When the Pure Soul Portal first opened, only the chosen could pass through — those with unshakable will and a soul as pure as Aether’s glow. Since then, their ranks remained unchanged. Until now.[/p][p]We’ve already introduced Singward — one of the new summoned. Today, it’s time to name the others.[/p][p]Glacia and Tenkyo — two new names, two new faces in the story to come. Along with Singward, they join the familiar heroes of the Pure Soul Portal.[/p][p]Important: The new heroes do not replace the old ones. They are added to the summoning pool, broadening choices and opening new paths for those brave enough to step through the Portal.[/p][p]The old souls remain. But now, new ones have joined them.[/p][p][/p]
Glacia – The Enchanting Ice Mistress
[p]Glacia was an ordinary girl who loved winter. Unfortunately, city winters rarely looked like the ones in books or films. Most days, her window revealed nothing but a grey-brown slush. Still, on those rare occasions when snowflakes gently drifted to the ground and crunched softly underfoot, Glacia would go for a walk. She’d buy ice cream and head to the local skating rink. Even when the frost nipped at her cheeks, she welcomed the cold — wearing a look of utter happiness.[/p][p]At night, wrapped in her favorite blanket, she would dream. What superpower would she choose? Time-stop? Elemental control? Super speed to finally stop missing the bus? Each day brought a new story in her head — where she was the hero saving lives. But morning always brought reality: alarms, hurry, routine.[/p][p]Until one day... a very normal winter’s day decided to grant her wish — in a most unusual way.[/p][p]An icicle. Ordinary. Determined. Fell from a rooftop — right onto her head. If this had been a cartoon, stars would’ve spun around her. In reality? Darkness.[/p][p]But Glacia didn’t wake up in the hospital. Instead, she found herself in silence. It was odd, but not frightening — as if she was wrapped in something invisible, warm and soft, despite the lingering cold.[/p][p][/p][p]When she opened her eyes, she was in an unfamiliar world. The locals called it Singoru — a place where good teeters on the edge, and evil… well, evil here is serious: magic, swords, and fangs that no one bothers to clean out of principle.[/p][p]Here, Glacia felt a power awaken within her — a living, obedient cold. She could summon icy shards and send them flying at her enemies. When danger arose, frost burst forth, freezing threats in place and allowing her to act. Ice was her gift. And at last — she became a hero. A real one.[/p][p]Her journey was… unorthodox. But Glacia had no complaints. Not every day does an icicle kickstart your superhero career.[/p][p][/p]
A Comic Book Heroine
[p]Once, while gazing at her reflection in a frozen lake, Glacia thought, “I could use a new outfit.” Not armor, not a robe — an outfit. Stylish, like in comics. With a visor. White, obviously.[/p][p]What local tailors offered was… boring. She tried making something herself — but it always turned out eerily familiar. As if the fabric itself insisted: “Leave it be.” She almost gave up.[/p][p]Almost — until she met Singward. Or rather, his upgraded form: more metal, less knight. She didn’t recognize him at first — but the inspiration was immediate. A few days of questioning (and missed lunches for Singward), and the name of the master was revealed: Nicolas.[/p][p]His workshop looked like a mad scientist's lab — which only reassured her she was in the right place. Two weeks of persistence, and Nicolas gave in. He created the suit — sleek, white, with the desired visor, and even with hair-color-changing tech! He added boosters too, just to stop her asking.[/p][p][/p][p]Now, Glacia has her new costume. And she feels more heroic than ever. Because now — she’s got the costume to match.[/p][p][/p]
Tenkyo – The Witch with a Guitar
[p]She was a superstar. Not a 15-second TikTok flicker — a real one. Guitar. Stage. A screaming crowd. Her solos were memorized by heart, guitarists envied her, and fans would trade years for a ticket to her concert. She hadn’t reached legendary status yet, but she was on her way — fueled by late-night rehearsals, worn-out picks, and blistered fingers.[/p][p]On the outside — glamour and applause. Inside — silence, melancholy, and aching loneliness. Her parents were long gone, few friends remained, and the fame, the money, the fans... all felt like glittery dust. All she had left of her past was her old guitar and a noisy amp that hummed like it shared her pain.[/p][p]One day, after a concert, she stayed behind on the empty stage. The lights went out, the audience left — she sat alone, strumming, trying to coax the last remaining notes from deep inside. The melody she played was soft — like a farewell to those she’d lost and to the loneliness that never left.[/p][p]And then — like a scene from a bad movie: a short circuit, a spark, a bang... and a lighting rig crashed down on her.[/p][p]A grim ending? It would’ve been. But her life decided to play out a scene from a manga she once read under the covers as a child.[/p][p]She awoke in complete darkness. She couldn’t see, but she felt… something watching her. Hundreds of little eyes. Fear? No. On the contrary — peace. A strange feeling of home. She reached out instinctively — and her guitar was there. As if it had followed her.[/p][p]She emerged into a strange forest, teeming with odd creatures. Some ran, others flew at her. Tenkyo did what she did best — she played.[/p][p]Notes poured out, vibrating the air. Her music echoed through the woods — and through a swarm of bats. One surged ahead, striking enemies threatening her. She kept playing, unaware of a wolf sneaking up. Only when it leapt did a whirlwind spark around her, laced with lightning. The wolf fell — lifeless.[/p][p]She ended her solo, staring at what remained: fallen monsters and a few bats that had died protecting her.[/p][p][/p][p]From then on, stories spread through Singoru — of the witch with the guitar. She played the music of storms, commanded bats… and always traveled alone. But now — she’s no longer lonely.[/p][p][/p]
What Matters Most to a Musician
[p]It’d be a lie to say Tenkyo never thought of changing her style. Of course she had. Sometimes. When seeing new fabrics at the market. Or catching her reflection in a shop window. Or standing beneath the twilight sky with her guitar, wondering: “Should I change something?”[/p][p]But the thought always slipped away — like wind through guitar strings.[/p][p]She was fine as is. Guitar — there. Sound — pure. Rhythm — hers. Companions near, road beneath her feet, endless tunes in her mind — everything she needed was already with her.[/p][p]One day, maybe, she’ll change. Surprise, redesign, redefine. But not now. Now, something else matters more.[/p][p]Because what’s the most important thing for any musician?[/p][p]Music.[/p][p][/p]
New Equipment – Star Fortress Set
[p]Since Aether began calling to heroes, the world has changed. Not suddenly — more like an ancient mechanism being reawakened. The gears of fate, long silent, have started to turn once again.[/p][p]Strange creatures appeared, unstable portals, mysterious artifacts… and coins. They called them Star Coins — for their shimmering glow and the sense that each held a fragment of something vast and powerful.[/p][p]The material was unique. It was melted down, studied, combined with other metals. Thus was born the Star Fortress Set — a complete armor forged for those who stare death in the eye and do not blink.[/p][p]In every piece — from helm to ring — lives something more than mere steel. Its power lies not just in protection, but in what it grants: the ability to return to life. Twice.[/p][p][/p][p]Its origin remains uncertain. Some believe it's tied to the stars, others — to Aether itself. The stubborn ones? They stay silent, wear it again, and that’s enough.[/p][p][/p][p]Sometimes, all it takes is one more chance to win.[/p][p]This set gives you two.[/p][p][/p][p]That’s it for now! Stay tuned — much more is coming. In the meantime, share your thoughts and expectations in the comments.[/p][p]Forward, Brave Ones![/p]
