Developer Diary #34 (Version 1.5)
[p]Brave Ones![/p][p]We are happy to present a new issue of the Developer Diary![/p][p]For all those eager to learn what changes and innovations await the world of Singoru in the near future, we are ready to lift the veil of mystery.
In this issue, we will introduce three new heroes who will soon stand in defense of the world, as well as improvements to Lightning Strike.[/p]

New Hero — Muriel
[p]“Life has meaning only if you never stop.”[/p][p]In her past life, Muriel never knew what it meant to “stop.” Even when her legs trembled from exhaustion and her lungs burned as if filled with scorching sand, she kept running. From rooftop to rooftop, from balcony to balcony, along walls, railings, cables, and bridge edges.
When others shouted, “Stop. You’ll die,” she laughed. Always.[/p][p]She lived in a city where skyscrapers grew like mushrooms after rain, and people walked the sidewalks like rails—one direction, one expression. Muriel was a flash, a lightning bolt, a fleeting ghost among gray office coats. They called her “Flash,” “Shadow,” “Mad Squirrel.” No one knew her real name, but everyone remembered her flying overhead—white hair streaming like a banner, eyes filled with wild clarity. She wasn’t afraid of heights. She feared stopping. Stillness. Emptiness.[/p][p]She felt the city forcing her to stop. But that would never happen. Muriel ran to the old district, where abandoned ivy-covered temples still breathed holiness. She ran across low buildings and laughed. Why did she believe, like everyone else, that people never returned from those roofs?
Then, in one moment… the tiles gave way. The collapse swallowed her like a trap. Boards and debris pinned her body—and what she feared most happened: stopping. She no longer heard the streets, no longer felt her heartbeat, as if time itself had frozen.[/p][p]Muriel heard a voice inside:
“Where are you running? What are you searching for?”[/p][p]She didn’t answer. She lay there, feeling time resume its flow as her body weakened. Taking one last breath, she whispered: “Meaning.”[/p][p]The Aether heard her. It accepted her will:
“Then run, Muriel—for when you stop, you will die.”[/p][p]She took a new form. Now she is Muriel—an elf in white robes, whose power grows with speed. The faster she runs, the brighter her spirit shines. But if she slows down, she begins to crumble into dust.[/p][p]She does not run toward a goal.
She runs because if she stops—she will vanish.[/p][p]The Aether gave her a second chance. Not for rest, but to become the embodiment of movement. Eternal. Endless. Alive.[/p][p]
[/p]

New Hero — Blue Rose
[p]“When I set a target, it has no chance.”[/p][p]Rose lost her sister in a bus crash—officially ruled an accident. She saw a black SUV cut the bus off after bursting from the forest. The driver was a mobster protected by powerful figures. Evidence vanished. Witnesses were silenced. There was no justice.[/p][p]So Rose took the truth into her own hands. Two years of hunting. Endless training that turned a teenage girl into a weapon. Hidden cameras. Threats. Long days of waiting. The city port—where else?[/p][p]They relaxed. Believed in their impunity so deeply that they didn’t even close the hangar door. It was their final mistake.[/p][p]The revenge was precise. Cold. They froze in their final moments, not understanding what happened. Her knives struck true, like darts hitting glowing marks on their heads. Like an angel of death, she crossed the hangar silently—and finally found HIM.[/p][p]She dreamed of this moment for years. But seconds later, her sister’s killer lay dead. And she lay beside him. Then… emptiness. The goal was reached. Life would soon end. She was calm. Only regretting she could no longer cleanse the world of villains.[/p][p]The Aether heard her wish. It gave her a new body—skin like frost, eyes glowing blue—and carried her into a world where monsters tear humans apart at city edges and light’s laws are weak against darkness.[/p][p]Now her name is Blue Rose. With cold fury, she accepted her fate. She is a hunter. Her purpose is to destroy evil. Her verdict is inevitable.
For when she sets a target—there is no escape.[/p][p]
[/p]

New Hero — Raynar
[p]“To wield such power is a trial even for the kindest soul.”[/p][p]A small yet proud kingdom of Singoru followed an ancient tradition: a man of royal blood ruled, while a woman—raised from infancy—became his support. Not merely a spouse, but a battle companion and life-long ally.[/p][p]No preparation can save one from the unexpected. After defeating all rivals and ascending the throne, Raynar was happy. But the world had other plans. Endless hordes of monsters fell upon Singoru, and armies of good collapsed one by one. Then the kingdom revealed its darkest secret.[/p][p]The Scepter of Power, passed through generations, was no ornament. It was an artifact of unimaginable might—granting dominion over lightning.[/p][p]The king accepted the challenge. He became a living storm, crushing enemies, hailed as a savior. But power outwitted reason. Slowly, the kind ruler turned into a tyrant obsessed with control. His fury became a threat no less dangerous than the monsters beyond the walls.[/p][p]One dark night, Raynar understood: only she could save the kingdom. Only she dared take the scepter from the one she once loved. Silent, heart pounding—“He must not know. I must run.”
The moment her fingers closed around the scepter, the Aether heard her. The sky split, thunder roared, and lightning tore her through time and space—far from the tyrant.[/p][p]On the other side, the sun greeted her. Bright, cloudless—mocking. Before her lay the ruins of the throne hall. On the shattered throne—his body. Dead. Like everything she tried to protect. Like every soul of her kingdom.[/p][p]Tears fell, but weakness no longer lived within her. She swore to protect the living, never surrender to power, and never become what she despised most.[/p][p]And the staff, accepting her oath, made her the Angel of Storm.[/p][p]
