Development is moving forward, and your involvement truly makes a difference. We wanted to pay tribute to its rich and varied landscapes. You won’t find flat, repetitive terrain here — but a real patchwork of ecosystems to explore.[/p][p][/p][p]Thanks to its massive scale, Texas stands at the crossroads of different climates and geographical influences. It bridges the gap between temperate and subtropical zones, as well as between the Eastern and Western United States. This unique blend gives rise to a wide variety of natural biomes, each with its own character and wildlife.[/p][p][/p][p]You’ll encounter the Gulf Coast Prairies and Marshes, crisscrossed by rivers flowing into the Gulf of Mexico, forming a lush and humid landscape. Further inland, the Blackland Prairies stretch across fertile black soils, covered in spring by the Texas Bluebonnet, the iconic blue flower of the state. Finally, to the west, the Trans-Pecos region unfolds as a more arid territory, with sparse vegetation, rocky plateaus, and a subtle mix of desert and woodland zones, all the way to the Pecos River that marks its boundary.[/p][p][/p]
First screenshots
[p]We know you’re eager to see what the map really looks like, so here are some in-development screenshots.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p](🔍 These visuals are not final, but they already give a strong sense of the atmosphere we’re aiming for.)[/p][p][/p]
Development check in
[p]Development is progressing well, and the team is working to deliver the best possible experience for hunting fans, whether seasoned veterans or newcomers to the genre.[/p][p]We’re not ready to announce a release date yet, but we’ll be sharing more, including the first gameplay footage, very soon.[/p][p][/p]
What’s next?
[p]The Texas map is just a taste of what Hunting Simulator 3 has in store. As you saw in Glimpse of the Wild #3, featuring Colorado, other environments are still in the works, each with their own ecosystems and features - and plenty more surprises to come.[/p][p]What topic would you like us to cover in the next Steam News? Let us know in the comments or on Discord.[/p][p]In the meantime, join us on Discord to follow development in real time, share your ideas, and chat with the team. 3 Questions to Beretta!

[p]Dear players,[/p][p]During our recent trip to Italy, we had the privilege of visiting Gardone Val Trompia, the historic heart of Beretta's manufacturing and innovation. There, our team had the opportunity to sit down with Fausto Massolo, Brand Manager at Beretta abut also a passionate hunter, to discuss a key aspect of immersion in Hunting Simulator 3: the sound of firearms. [/p][p]Fausto Massolo emphasized the importance of audio fidelity in creating a believable hunting experience. According to him, players feel much more immersed in the game when the soundscape mirrors reality as closely as possible. Capturing the authentic sound of each weapon is not just a technical challenge, it is essential to delivering a truly engaging simulation. At Nacon Studio Ghent, we couldn’t agree more. We know how important sound is to our players, and we’re committed to making every shot feel and sound as real as possible.[/p][p]We asked Fausto Massolo three focused questions about this collaboration and the role Beretta plays in helping us reproduce the most accurate firearm sounds possible. [/p][p][/p][p]Watch the full interview here:[/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]And this is just the beginning![/p][p]Very soon, we’ll be releasing a full DevDiary focused on the sound design of Hunting Simulator 3, diving deeper into how we’re recreating the rich and detailed audio of nature, wildlife, and firearms.[/p][p]Stay tuned for more exclusive content!
Exploring Colorado
In this update, we're taking you behind the scenes of the Colorado map, one of the key environments in Hunting Simulator 3.

Our primary goal in developing this region was ambitious: to recreate a natural space that feels authentic and immersive. We wanted Colorado to reflect the richness and diversity of its real-world counterpart, from the high mountain peaks to the rolling grasslands.

To achieve this, our team leaned heavily on reference materials (real-world photos, satellite imagery, and documentary footage) to guide the creation of terrain, vegetation, lighting, and animal habitats. Every detail, from the layout of the hills to the distribution of flora, was designed with authenticity in mind.

Players exploring this map will encounter a variety of ecosystems, each with its own atmosphere and challenges:

 • Alpine: Rugged, high-altitude zones with sparse vegetation and panoramic views.
 • Turf Zones: Low-lying wetland areas, rich in animal tracks and perfect for slow, patient stalking.
 • Lodgepole: Narrow, tall forests with limited visibility and excellent cover.
 • Aspen: Known for their golden autumn foliage and hauntingly quiet ambiance.
 • Grasslands: Open areas ideal for spotting prey from a distance.
 • Shrubland: Transitional zones offering unique visibility and cover mechanics.
 • Spruce Forests: Dense and darker regions requiring a more strategic approach to hunting.

Each biome not only changes the visual tone of the game but also alters the way you play. The landscape itself becomes a vital part of the hunting experience.

Beretta Joins The Hunt

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]Dear Hunters,

Welcome to this first DevBlog for Hunting Simulator 3! Today, we’re talking about a key element of immersion: the official brands and equipment you will find in the game.

Having real and official brands in a game enhances the immersion. While it can sometimes be challenging to contact and obtain agreements from certain brands, negotiations usually reach a successful conclusion and brands are usually happy to be featured in a game that respect their work.

One of the first brands to open its doors to us and be integrated into HS3 is Beretta.

[/p]
Beretta: From 1526 to Today
[p]Founded in 1526, Beretta is one of the oldest firearms manufacturers in the world. This Italian company, still family-owned after nearly 500 years, is renowned for its weapons used by hunters.

Beretta's legacy began with Mastro Bartolomeo Beretta, who delivered 185 arquebus barrels to the Venetian Arsenal. Since then, the brand has continuously evolved while maintaining its unique craftsmanship.

[/p]
Beretta and Hunting Simulator
[p]Already featured in previous installments, Beretta renews its trust and will have a strong presence in Hunting Simulator 3.

To provide an even more authentic experience, our team traveled to Gardone Val Trompia, in Italy, at the heart of Beretta’s historic facilities. The aim: to capture the Beretta models in order to reproduce them as accurately as possible, but also to discuss with the Beretta teams.

[/p]
"When I see Beretta products featured well in a video game, it definitely makes me proud." – Carlo Gussalli Beretta
[p]
Carlo Gussalli Beretta, the 16th generation of the Beretta family, welcomed us to discuss the shared values between Beretta and the Hunting Simulator franchise.

Many iconic Beretta models will be available in Hunting Simulator 3. Here’s an exclusive sneak peek:

This is just the beginning! In the upcoming DevBlogs, we’ll reveal more weapons, equipment, and vehicles to enhance your adventure.

Glimpse of the Wild #2 - Vehicles.

Dear Hunters,

Welcome to the second edition of your monthly Steam News, Glimpse of the Wild.
After introducing the unique animals of the Colorado map (if you missed it, you can catch up [here]), we’re thrilled to reveal a major new feature in Hunting Simulator 3: vehicles.

As in Hunting Simulator 1 and 2, the maps in Hunting Simulator 3 will span tens of square kilometers, offering vast and immersive environments for you to explore freely. To enhance your experience, we’ve added off-road vehicles to make traveling faster, more convenient, and more enjoyable. Say goodbye to the frustration of walking for hours to reach your destination!

At launch, you’ll have access to UTV and an SUV, which can be acquired in the in-game store and accessed from your garage.

Today, we’re excited to unveil the first models integrated into the game. These vehicles are still in their pre-alpha phase and are subject to changes before the final release. We’re also proud to announce partnerships with three major official brands: Kawasaki, Polaris, and Ford.

Kawasaki - MulePro FX EPS LE

Kawasaki - MulePro FXT 1000 LeRanch

Kawasaki - Teryx S LE

Polaris - Ranger EV

Here’s your first look at the vehicles that will be available in the game. We can’t wait to showcase them in action through upcoming videos or screenshots. In the meantime, feel free to share your thoughts and feedback here on Steam or directly on our Discord server.
