NEWS FROM HELL!, or How Are We Doing and what's going on with Be My Horde

We’re sending you nothing but warm words straight from Hell—literally. Yes, the development of Be My Horde has taken us to some peculiar places. It’s no longer a secret that the new chapter will thrust our necromancess and her undead army right into the burning depths of Hell. The hottest being in the hottest place—sounds about right, don’t you think?


We’re designing new enemies, balancing the flow of the upcoming level, and writing fresh dialogues for both Moriana and her next nemesis—someone daring enough to stand in her way. Our goal is to create a unique yet familiar vision of Hell within the world of Be My Horde. As you can see, it will be a truly unpleasant realm that no ordinary person would ever wish to visit. But Moriana is far from ordinary, so…


That said, she’s not exactly heading there by choice. Something happens after her battle with Richard III Ovine that forces her to spend some time deep among the rivers of lava. What exactly? You’ll have to wait for the update to find out.

We’ve spent plenty of time refining new units, making countless iterations so you’ll have even more fearsome creatures to enlist in your malevolent horde. For now, here’s a sneak peek at some concept art, but in the coming weeks, we’ll take a closer look at these—and a few other surprises. Not to mention new perks that Moriana will soon get her COLD hands on (yes, the word “cold” is a foreshadowing—why do you ask?).

Aside from working hard on the game itself, we also had the chance to attend DevGAMM in Gdańsk, Poland. The event season has officially begun for us! We met fellow developers, did some vital networking, and had a blast showcasing Be My Horde to the audience. Seeing people enjoy Moriana’s adventure firsthand is always a huge motivator for us!


Also, we're excited to share that Be My Horde is part of Steam’s Women’s Day Sale! Women developers have played a significant role in shaping the game, and we're thrilled to be part of this event. Plus, Moriana wouldn’t have let us live if we hadn’t joined the party—our strong and independent necromancess loves the spotlight, as you know!
