Inspired by Monster Girl's Labyrinth, Dungeon Vixens is a dungeon crawling rouge-like monster girl adventure with retro graphics. You play as a lone protagonist with a quest to reclaim his love.



The dungeon he is about to enter however is filled with a lot of temptations and challenges. Such as the Succubus Lilura and many other sexy vixens that roam the halls. Using your attack and defense slider system timing is everything.

How's it going? Ready for the end of the year celebrations? Hopefully, you'll be able to make some room to enjoy VoidBound's latest update as well, which is due out soon! In-fact we're so close, we'll quickly walk you through the latest Progress Report before we dive back right back into it.

Lets start, with the art~

CG work on the second Bounty Hunt was concluded this week, bringing an end to all the art related tasks revolving around this patch. With this, both Bounty Hunt scenarios are finalized, and yes both of them include some incredibly done animated scenes!

Additionally, miscellaneous game assets like weaponry, accessories, and clothes were finished off as well. That includes some pretty new gadgets and snazzy threads for both our heroine and the bad guys!

Woah... that hook style! Geneva Convention would like to have a word with the owner.

Either everyone is under-dressed, or this guy is over-dressed.

Now that the text work is complete, both Bounty Hunts have been turned over for insertion and in-game deployment. Dependent on Caly's choice, this can play out multiple ways, so a need for being extra judicious with testing the branching system is important. But that is mostly the task of the internal tester.

The writers though, are not standing idle and have already changed gears working on improving and tweaking the introduction of Tripteen. We mentioned this a while back but, there is a rework coming for the first planet and a creative push to add additional short quests and memorable story moments to Henosis via mini quests, is in the works.

More on that in the future though. For now, the code!

Final patch programming work has begun and should be near conclusion by the time this post goes up. This update should contain an estimated 14000 words of text, an array of visuals, multiple soundtracks, and more. Everything central to the patch is being converted into code while new minor features like dialogue character fade, Quest Log triggers etc. are being inserted as well.

More details on these will be provided in the Change-log post that will be available to read at the time of release. But, before we commit the new features on paper however, internal testing is in full swing to check everything is in working order. Even though we're at the end of the line, we still hope to take down any bugs and areas to fix before the patch release.

Greetings Adventures o7

It's time for another weekly progress report on the development of VoidBound. This week, we've made significant strides, albeit they are bit on the technical side this time so, bear with us:

We've well established by now that Caly is going felon hunting in this upcoming update and she is going to do so in style by taking names and kicking ass. But... what if Caly meets her match? What if she went looking for trouble but, that trouble got the best of her? Caly getting the tables flipped on her, is the very theme that was finished this week i.e the Defeat Scene CGs for Bounty Hunt Tier 1.

We wish we could showcase some finished content but we'd rather you enjoy once it's ready! All we can say right now is that Tuko and Caly are going to have a blast! ... Or, at least Tuko definitely will *tentacly grin*

Furthermore, coloring work on the different Standing Arts for Caly are now finished as well. We've got some slick and rich new expressions to make sure our main girl looks tight, walking through the mean streets of Henosis, socializing like she was born there. Prepare to meet a fresh look Caly that is now showcasing the best of her ASSets.

Meanwhile, Bounty Hunter Tier 2 is in full writing production. Everything is outlined so it's just a matter of putting the ideas to paper and then from paper to keyboard, which should be done by the time this post goes out. Guess we won't get the opportunity to discuss the details much as that one's development is cutting a bit close.

Still, we do know that The Tier 2 quest will include one alternative route for Caly to bring in her target. The beauty is that it will also allow for some additional paths later on if we want to add them, which dependent on player feedback might just happen sooner than later!

Speaking of bounties, the technical Template Format for Bounty Hunt Tier 1 is finished. Coders are just waiting for the script for Tier 2 to be completed before they can start work on the entire thing in one go. But, while they wait, they sent word that we had been waiting for with baited breath:

Completed stability evaluation and side testing of Quest Log Prompts with the writer. The Log allows us to put in details like requirements for the quests and objectives. Plus it looks really baller. Check out for yourself!

And on a final rhythmic note, four new audio tracks have been produced! These new tunes will help enhance the aesthetics of our new zones, improving the enthralling game-play experience that you have come to expect from VoidBound.

How fair thee? Here at our Atelier basement, the team is sedulously chipping away at the new content while simultaneously fighting buggy gremlins off on a daily basis.

Lets walk you through some of our recent adventures!

In VoidBound, enemies come in two flavors. One, the 2D sprite form that roves around in the map, and the second a more bigger version that Caly faces off on the battlefield. This week we fleshed out the latter, creating new enemy designs fully decked out with unique battle animations. It gets a little boring fighting the same puddy man again and again doesn't it?

Hence, out goes the man, and in come the beast(s)..
The new gang is armed to the tentacle and ready to get freaky..- are you?

And boy can they get freaky. They have their own personalized array of NSFW Combat Cut-Ins drafted specially to showcase their unique style of sexual attacks, grappling, face-tentacle locks, and the works. Caly better be careful dealing with these buggers, lest she ends up loosing and getting turned into an unwilling pleasure toy for whatever passes for the Cthulu cult in the unknown worlds ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Who's a good girl?!

Meanwhile, work progresses smoothly on the second bounty hunting quest. We've had to take a step back and consider that going here and kill can get a tad boring, so this next mission will play more into the idea of an emergent threat. Caly goes in looking for something but, comes out with a new bounty.
As always, her forte of biting more than she could chew is making her life interestingly difficult..- interesting for us and difficult for her, that is.

And now, for some tech talk- and we start with the good news first. Issues plaguing the Quest Log System have been identified and patched! Our initial tests show that interface cycling, issues with text scrolling and cursor effects etc. have all disappeared and we're fairly confident we're near ready for this one's final deployment.

Still, we want to be absolutely sure so, rigorous testing is currently underway to evaluate the solution further.

Finally, two unique skill tables have also been developed, one for each new central enemy that Caly will go hunting for her Bounty objective. At the moment not many details are available as we're told that the balancing parameter phase is still in its infancy. But, it'd be safe to presume that any seasoned criminal with its back against the wall will not only fight dirty but would do so wildly at both melee and ranged range. Caly will have to prep with a balanced strategy in mind.
