Sneak peak into New Content & Year-End Wrap Up: Public Edition 👁️‍🗨️

[p][/p][p]Hello Voidbounders[/p][p]Time for a little check-in from the team. We have been pushing hard for a major content update for VoidBound. It will include a brand new dungeon, new enemies and combat, updates to the main storyline, wholesome moments, 6+ erotic scenes, and more! [/p][p]Progress-wise, all coding for this update will be wrapped up this month, and all of the text has been finished (over 60,000 words!!!). With 6+ H-scenes, our artists have been kept very busy, and we are happy to share that all of the lineart and sketches have been finished! Rendering the final step in the art, and since we want to deliver the same quality that you have come to love, we will have to push this month's update into January.[/p][p]We know our community has been waiting patiently for new content, so we want to give paid supporters a sneak peek at our next update! This will contain spoilers, so do not scroll past the big SPOILER SECTION AHEAD if you do not want to see it! The section will be marked with some extra emojis too, so you know when to stop. [/p][p]We now have a fully redone implementation of our custom caching system, significantly reducing load times and allowing us to cache data during gameplay, which should improve the game experience for many users. Sometimes, we even got the loading times to be 5 times faster than they were.[/p][p]In gameplay, we have really started to look at and evaluate areas that can make the VoidBound experience less one-note when you get into a battle. To do this, we're working to make enemies smarter, meaning players will develop a bit more strategy to win a battle. This includes:[/p]
  • [p]Learning your opponents. The improvements will open the door for you to read your opponent and figure out the best way to take down bosses in big fights.[/p]
  • [p]Tuning the Modification System. We're spending some time on the modification systems so that your chosen weapon and the mods you put into it will have a greater impact.[/p]
  • [p]We loved doing outrageous stuff like the rhythm minigame and such, and wanna do more of such things to diversify and make the game world feel more lived in.[/p]
[p]Look out for more updates in January as we polish up the next great update of VoidBound.[/p][p]Lastly, thank you so much for all your support in this past year. [p]This character shall remain nameless for now, but rest assured, she has played and will play a big part in the final arc of the VoidBound Main Quest. Our artist did a great job, bringing her from concept to art, and we believe she will stand as a proper foe for Caly, joining the ranks of other memorable characters that have opposed our space heroine before.[/p][p]Trust us, don't be deceived by her beautiful looks, for she is as powerful as she is luminous, and she is going to be a tough opponent for Caly in more ways than one.[/p]
[p][/p][p]Things that go bump in the void…[/p][p][/p]
[p]Space is notoriously dangerous. Danger does come with some perks, and one of them is our newest gangbang scene for Caly. These Goblins are small but crafty, and they'll put anyone who underestimates them in a tight spot.[/p][p]Of course, if you fail Caly is going to start a brand new adventure, as a plaything for the smartest gobbo on the ship.[/p]
[p][/p][p]Prepare for new challenges[/p][p][/p]
[p]The goblins don't fight fair, but the powerful orcs and their captain fight with dominating strength and power that can easily put Caly on her back if she is not careful. Like other battles, we will have a nice line of delicious inserts for when Caly is restrained.[/p]
[p]And don't worry, there is a whole scene beyond, just in case Caly is unable to ring the Orc Captain's bell.[/p]

Here’s the rundown, for this week~[/p][p]---🎨----[/p][p]New sketch work is in for Caly’s Orc defeat pose, leaning into a particularly intense setup for this outcome. Additional sketches are refining how the boss scene plays out, focusing on flow, staging, and escalation.[/p][p]Orc and Goblin battlers have received updates, now properly equipped with clothing and weapons to better match their roles in combat. Multiple pose and variation sketches are also being explored to give these scenes more range and replay value.[/p][p]Lastly, new art is in progress for unique quest moments, including Caly working off steam with a punching bag and a relaxed dinner scene shared with close friends.[/p][p]----✍️----[/p][p]Location directions are being reworked to help players move through the Orc Dungeon more intuitively and avoid unnecessary confusion.[/p][p]Minor edits and polish passes have been completed to tighten the pacing and clarity of the Chief Yagnar Defeat Scene.[/p][p]Drafting continues on both the Big Orc Boss scene and the standard Orc defeat scene. Once complete, this will give full narrative coverage for goblin encounters, orc battles, and trap-related outcomes.[/p][p]----🖥️----[/p][p]The Dinner Scene is now fully implemented in-game, including all relevant CGs and event logic.[/p][p]Ongoing work now continues on implementing the remaining quest elements, locations, and supporting systems for the main Orc Dungeon.[/p][p]-----------[/p][p]That’s it for this week’s peek behind the curtain. Let's dive into the specifics, shall we?[/p][p]---🎨----[/p][p]We'll be teasing a new batch of main-quest artwork soon. They’re coming along swimmingly, but we’re keeping the specifics under wraps for now. Though.. a bit won't hurt right? Like..[/p][p]Early sketches are in for a surreal scene involving the duo, Ellie and SAND3! Both play a major role inside the Orc Dungeon and the imagery is shaping up to be eerie and very plot-relevant.[/p][p]An incredible array of new enemy battler sketches is in the works too. From goblins to bruiser-tier orcs, the dungeon is getting a roster worthy of keeping Caly on her toes (and occasionally on her back ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)[/p][p]----✍️----[/p][p]Drafting continues for the encounter with the Orc Mini-Boss. Expect bindings, dominance, and a little milking punishment depending on how the fight plays out.[/p][p]The full writeup for the Milkstation sequence is finished, bringing together all the creamy details that tie into the dungeon’s kinky themes.[/p][p]Early conceptualization has begun on Planet Jaee’s navigation structure and story mechanics, shaping how players will explore and progress through this environment.[/p][p]----🖥️----[/p][p]Work is underway on improving enemy AI. They’re now learning to use snare traps, coordinate attacks, and generally behave like they’ve actually trained for dungeon defense. No more simple stab-or-shoot routines.[/p][p]Ongoing design discussions are focused on making both the miniboss and main boss encounters mechanically interesting, flavorful, and challenging in a way that fits their personalities and the dungeon theme.[/p][p]-----------[/p][p]And that’s the full slate for this week.
