Upcoming Update Plans (Mid-November 2025 – Early December 2025)

[p]Hello everyone! We are aiming to wrap up the final polishing work for Version I: Reshaping the Great Houses by early December. We know many of you are eagerly awaiting new gameplay content, but to ensure a better overall experience, we need to properly close out Version I first. This phase mainly includes:[/p][p][/p][p]1. The most important task: thorough bug investigation.[/p][p]We are a small team of only three people, and development takes up almost all of our time. This means some deeply hidden bugs can slip through unnoticed. For this update, we plan to dedicate time to carefully check for any remaining major issues.[/p][p][/p][p]2. Improving overall usability.[/p][p]We’ll be optimizing several areas where the controls or operations currently feel inconvenient.[/p][p][/p][p]3. Adding new background music.[/p][p]We are currently in talks with our music production team. If everything goes smoothly, new background tracks will be included in this update.[/p][p][/p][p]During this period, we’ll also begin preparing content for Version II, which will focus on storylines, events, and their corresponding gameplay systems. We completely understand your eagerness for brand-new content, but having a stable foundation before moving into the next phases is essential. House of Legacy is planned as a long-term live game, and we’ll continue updating it with plenty of rich content. We also plan to gradually expand our development team to ensure faster and higher-quality updates.[/p]

Patch Notes v0.7.95 | Member Management, Family Chronicle & Burial Ground

[p]Hey guys, it’s been a while! Over the past month, I’ve been working hard on a lot of new updates, and I can’t wait to share them with you. I truly hope these changes make your experience even better. Thank you so much for your patience and for staying with me on this journey. This update includes the following changes:[/p][p] [/p][p]1. Member Management Panel added:[/p][p]- How to open: Click Switch to Management Panel above the genealogy panel to switch to the new management UI. You can switch back to the genealogy view at any time.[/p][p]- Filter & display: Filter clan members and retainers by type, status, gender, age range, attributes, rank, marital status, duties, and more.[/p][p]- Integrated interactions: Interaction actions for members and retainers are now integrated into the management panel, greatly reducing the need to open many subpages.[/p][p]- Improved search: You no longer need to type a full name: partial name searches will find family members and retainers.[/p][p] [/p][p]2. Family Chronicle added[/p][p]\[Note: Family members who died in earlier versions of the game cannot be recorded retrospectively.][/p][p] [/p][p]- How to open: Click your avatar at the top-left to open the family panel, then select Family Chronicle to view generations past.[/p][p]- What’s recorded: When a family member dies, significant life events (marriage, children, imperial exams, official appointments, bestowals/revocations of titles, etc.) are recorded in the Family Chronicle. Because consorts and in-married sons-in-law rarely have events such as exams or official appointments, they are mostly recorded as part of their spouse’s life entries rather than as separate full entries.[/p][p]- If you frequently roll back the game, some clan members who died before the rollback might still appear in the family history. When they die again after the rollback, the family history will update their life records accordingly. We’ve also added a feature that allows players to edit the family history directly, so you can delete any clan member data you don’t wish to keep.[/p][p] [/p][p]3. New buildable scene - Burial Ground:[/p][p]How to obtain a burial ground:[/p][p]- After clearing an estate, click Convert to Burial Ground in the estate management panel.[/p][p]- In your fief, click an empty lot and choose Designate as Burial Ground.[/p][p] [/p][p]Buildable structures:[/p][p]- Tombs: Grand (1st-rank officials / Dukes), Noble (2nd–3rd rank officials / Marquises), High (4th–5th rank officials / Earls), Standard (6th–7th rank officials), Modest (commoners / unranked).[/p][p]- Decorations: New stone statuary (Stone Ram, Stone Horse, Stone Tiger, Stone Camel, Stone Elephant, Stone Scholar, Stone General, Stone Pillar) plus existing decorative buildings.[/p][p] [/p][p]Burial Ground features:[/p][p]- Interment: When a clan member dies, an interment record is generated (kept for five years). Click a tomb to inter an appropriately ranked member. A spouse will be automatically interred with their partner — no extra steps required.[/p][p]- Management: The burial ground panel supports renaming the ground, one-click paving, one-click clearing of all buildings, and one-click clearing of decorative structures.[/p][p]- Blueprints: Official blueprints are provided (each burial-ground size includes two official layouts). You can import and export blueprints.[/p][p]- Information display: Shows current number of built tombs, number of interred family members, and values for Environment, Security, Convenience, etc.[/p][p] [/p][p]4. Added several loading-screen tips (the in-game encyclopedia has been updated accordingly)[/p][p] [/p][p]5. Bug fixes and text corrections (highlights):[/p][p]- Fixed a bug where, during the rebellion vs. fieflord war event, divination could not select personnel and UI displayed incorrect info.[/p][p]- Fixed a bug where divination during war events consumed stamina incorrectly.[/p][p]- Fixed a crash that could occur when opening the “Raise Morale” panel while processing battle reports.[/p][p]- Fixed an issue where changing terrain a second time in a fief reported zero work required.[/p][p]- Fixed overlapping icons for certain estates and manors on the world map.[/p][p]- Fixed an issue where Happiness, Agriculture, and Commerce values increased automatically when village/town population was zero.[/p][p]- Fixed an issue allowing tax collection when population was zero.[/p][p]- Fixed a bug showing the “tutor for a prince” assignment when a player had actually assigned a tutor to a princess.[/p][p]- Fixed an issue where the Healing skill value for members with the automatic healer duty did not update immediately when the skill improved (values will update the following month; slight delay remains).[/p][p]- Fixed missing entries for some events (bestowal, stripping of fief/title, ennoblement, inheritance, empress consort removal, etc.) that were not being recorded in life records.[/p][p]- Clarified and corrected multiple text lines to avoid ambiguity.[/p][p]- Fixed several translation errors, UI logic issues, and font-size problems.[/p][p]- Fixed a bug where the selected manor did not match the displayed members when filtering for housing assignments.[/p][p]- Fixed occasional incorrect display of inheritors when a family member inherited a title.[/p][p]- Fixed incorrect conditions for determining whether a family member can be expelled from the household.[/p][p]- Fixed a bug where interactions with royal family members could occasionally cause the game to freeze.[/p][p] [/p][p]Thank you again for all your support, feedback, and kindness, it really means the world to me. [p]Fixed an issue where clicking “Propose Marriage” to a widowed royal consort would incorrectly open the “Pillow-side Advice” interface, causing the advice action to freeze (no valid target).[/p]

Upcoming Update Plan (Mid-October 2025 – Mid-November 2025)

[p]Special Note:[/p][p]House of Legacy still has a rich lineup of content updates planned for the future. However, most of the upcoming features can no longer be completed within a single week, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up a weekly update schedule.[/p][p] [/p][p]To ensure higher quality and better development pacing for future content, starting with this update, we will be shifting to a monthly update cycle.[/p][p] [/p][p]Highlights of This Update: Clan Member Management Panel + New Content Updates[/p][p] [/p][p]1. Clan Member Management Panel (can switch with the current Genealogy View; complex development requiring more time):[/p][p] [/p][p]a. Clan members and retainers will be displayed in list form, with filtering and optimized search functions.[/p][p] [/p][p]b. Most clan member and retainer interactions will be integrated into the management panel, reducing the need to open multiple sub-pages and improving ease of operation.[/p][p] [/p][p]c. Clan member duty overview: all current duties will be displayed more clearly in categorized lists, allowing duties to be changed directly from the list.[/p][p] [/p][p]2. New Content Updates[/p][p]As this update cycle is longer than usual, specific content may adjust based on development progress. We’ll keep some surprises under wraps, please stay tuned![/p][p] [/p][p]3. Bug Fixes and Experience Improvements:[/p][p]Several long-pending bugs will be fixed, and various detail optimizations will be made.[/p][p] [/p][p]We plan to complete two more monthly updates to wrap up the Version 0.8 major phase, and then move quickly into Version 0.9 development.[/p][p] [/p][p]In Version 0.9, new gameplay and storylines involving nations and great clans will be added, along with many long-awaited features that we’re excited to finally share with you![/p]
