Patch Notes v0.7.4 | New Royal Gameplay & Bug Fixes
New Royal Gameplay:
[p]New features are now unlocked once your family becomes a relative of the Imperial House:[/p][p]1. Control the Emperor to launch wars by issuing military edicts (Minister of War still has troop command authority).[/p][p]2. Host Grand Sacrificial Rites to reduce natural disasters. The reduction rate depends on the Emperor’s Luck stat.[/p][p]3. Grant general amnesty or pardon individuals at will (especially beneficial for convicted clan members).[/p][p]4. Recruit Imperial Guards directly to rapidly bolster your Imperial Guard forces.[/p][p]5. Levy additional nationwide taxes (one extra year of tax per time). The Ministry of Revenue will handle the distribution.[/p][p]6. Initiate royal matchmaking to find suitable partners for imperial family members.[/p][p]7. Arrange royal marriages individually, for both princes and princesses.[/p][p]8. Appoint or depose the Empress, or promote a concubine to Empress.[/p][p]9. Appoint or depose the Crown Prince.[/p][p]10. Force the Emperor to abdicate in favor of the Crown Prince.[/p][p]11. Confine royal family members to prevent court infighting.[/p][p]12. Grant death to royal members, if needed.[/p][p]13. Cancel royal marriages involving wives or concubines.[/p][p][/p][p]- Some basic palace intrigue events have been implemented. There is now a chance for conflict between princes, consorts, and concubines. (This system is still in its early stage, more events and depth will be added over time.)[/p][p][/p][p]- We’ve also refined some previously rigid systems. Once your clan joins the royal circle, the imperial court will no longer force requests for aid, missions, or resources. Old imperial edicts will also be withdrawn.[/p][p][/p][p]Reserved Features (Coming Soon)[/p][p]The following features are not yet implemented but are reserved for future updates, especially after the upcoming Clan Rivalry system is complete:[/p][p][/p][p]1. Control the Emperor to issue decrees.[/p][p]2. Grant or revoke dukedoms among royal clans.[/p][p]3. Assign royal clan members to act as regents.[/p][p][/p][p]--------------------------------------------------------------------------[/p]
Bug Fixes:
[p]1. Fixed a bug where repeatedly provoking other clans caused the royal army to attack the same location multiple times.[/p][p](This also led to related issues, such as multiple clans appearing in the same place.)[/p][p]2. Fixed a bug where two empresses could appear.[/p][p](Old saves may still have this issue, but it will not happen again going forward.)[/p][p]3. Fixed an issue where royal marriage status didn’t update in time.[/p][p]4. Fixed some text errors and missing translations.[/p][p][/p][p]We’ll continue fixing more reported bugs over the weekend.[/p][p][/p][p]--------------------------------------------------------------------------[/p]
About Performance, Family Tree & UX Optimization:
[p][/p][p]We’ve received a lot of feedback regarding performance issues, family tree improvements, and simplifying repetitive actions, and we want you to know these are absolutely top priorities for us. However, some of these problems are deeply rooted in our data structures and are really hard to fix without risking further issues.[/p][p][/p][p]For example, overhauling the family tree involves compatibility issues with existing systems and data, it's a complex web that can't be untangled overnight. That said, it's already on our optimization list, and we are actively exploring workable solutions.[/p][p][/p][p]As a small three-person team, we are doing our best to balance new features, bug fixes, and overall improvements. Progress might not be lightning fast, but no one wants this game to get better more than we do. Some problems will take time to solve, but we are committed to ongoing improvements, and there's still plenty of exciting new content on the way.[/p][p][/p][p]Thanks for your patience and support, we’ll keep going strong!
