We’d like to announce that, in the wake of yesterday’s announcement of Heroes of Valor’s Early Access release date on June 12th, the playtest has officially ended!

These past few months have been a lot of fun, and we’re really grateful for your participation in the playtest. We really enjoyed working on this game alongside such an active & dedicated community, using your feedback to tweak, fix, and ultimately make the game better! And we can’t wait to keep collaborating with all of you as we move into Early Access.

For now, we’ll go back to our messy desks to keep working on some new stuff that you’ll get to see at launch on the 12th. We hope you’ll find another activity to fill that HOV-shaped void in your heart. But don’t fill it too much, cause the battle for the top of the leaderboard won’t be an easy one.

[h4]Heroes of Valor launches into Early Access on June 12th![/h4]

The time has come. No more “soon.” No more cryptic hints. We’ve circled a date on the calendar, underlined it twice, and probably shouted it in our sleep! June 12th is the day Heroes of Valor officially enters Early Access.

We’re currently working on an Early Access roadmap that’ll lay out all the exciting features and updates we’ve got planned. Let’s just say, there’s a lot to look forward to. We’ll be sharing that with you very soon!

We’ll be adding a lot of polish in the EA release, giving the game a a fresh new coat of paint. We’ve reworked the UI, overhauled the sound design, improved hit and kill feedback and polished a bunch of other areas – we want the game to look as fresh and shiny as possible.

Finally, to everyone who’s playtested, wishlisted, joined the Discord, or just screamed into their mics in support: thank you! We’re incredibly grateful for the love this project has already received, and we can’t wait to take it to the next level with you.

It’s almost been a month since we announced our publishing deal, and we still can’t quite believe how much has happened since. We’ve gained 25.000 Wishlists and our server browser is busier than ever – seriously, we had to add a scrolling feature!

Reading everyone’s excited, nostalgia-tinged comments has been really heartwarming! We had one particular goal with Heroes of Valor: to bring back some of our core gaming memories, playing a type of shooter that just doesn’t seem to be around anymore (if you know you know). We wanted to recapture that old school feeling, and we’re so excited that that resonated with all of you.

[h4]Thanks to everyone who’s wishlisted, joined the playtest, and chatted on the Discord! We’re cooking up a lot of exciting stuff, and we’re so hyped to be able to share it with all of you soon.[/h4]

A bunch of creators from all over the world also covered our little passion project! For the past few weeks, we’ve been watching video after video, and it’s been an absolute thrill to see other people run around the playground we’ve created. From creators we’ve been watching for years, to new discoveries, we wanna thank everyone who’s covered the game so far!
