Greetings, Runners!

The Open Beta Test ACT: 2 of Brazen Blaze has begun!
In this Bulletin, we will introduce the new features added in Open Beta Test ACT: 2 and look back at ACT: 1 with various data.
ACT: 2 is packed with new features and rewards. After reading this Bulletin, please play the game and enjoy the new features!

[h2]ACT: 2 New Features[/h2]
[h3]Custom Matches[/h3]

Custom Matches, which have been requested by many, are finally being added!
In Custom Matches, up to 6 players can freely choose rules, stages, and teams to play.
The selectable rules include familiar ones like "Round Team Match," "Stock Team Match," and "Survival," as well as new Custom Match-exclusive rules "Duel" and "Playground."

Duel
This is a 1v1 rule introduced in Presidential Bulletin #3.
Unlike Team Matches or Survival where you need to keep track of multiple players' movements, you can focus on one opponent, allowing you to gain experience in combat movements.
Even if you don't play well, you won't be bothering anyone, so feel free to be more aggressive than usual.
If you have one friend playing Brazen Blaze, you can easily start a match. Polish your moves in 1v1 battles and use them to shine in other rules.

Playground
This is not a match but a rule where you can freely explore the stage.
During actual matches, it might be hard to remember the terrain or the locations of recovery items due to focusing on opponents and stage collapses. This rule allows you to thoroughly explore and confirm those aspects. Understanding the terrain is the first step to victory. Use this for practice and research!
You can also enjoy a leisurely stroll through the stage with friends. Use it for a break between matches.

[h3]Target Challenge[/h3]
To respond to requests for "a mode to play and practice solo," we have added a new mode called "Target Challenge."
In this mode, you compete for the time taken to destroy all target drones placed on the stage. In this initial release, there are two stages with different target locations and numbers.
You can freely choose your Runner and Sub Weapons, so find the most efficient combination to destroy the targets.

[h2]ACT: 1 Review[/h2] [h3]Overall Feedback[/h3]
We have received a lot of feedback from many players, and we sincerely thank everyone.
We will continue to develop Brazen Blaze referencing your voices to make it a better game, so please keep playing and providing feedback!

Many players have pointed out the following issues, and our development team prioritizes solving these problems:
- Matching with players of significantly different skill levels, leading to quick defeats
- Long matchmaking times

These two issues make it difficult for new players to continue playing Brazen Blaze. To address this, we have added "Custom Matches" and "Target Challenge" as places to practice controls outside of Team Matches and Survival. You can also play "Target Challenge" during times when matchmaking is difficult.
Additionally, we plan to update the matchmaking function in early June to reduce waiting times before matches start.
There are other issues and areas for improvement, which we will address in future updates.

Now let's look at some data from ACT: 1.

[h3]Runner Win Rates[/h3]

As you can see, Legacy had the highest win rate among all Runners.
This is likely due to his high health, Magna Shield to block long-range attacks, and the long distance of his Boost Dash, enabling stable gameplay.
Velvet was the only Runner with significant differences in win rates across different rules.

[h3]Runner Pick Rates[/h3]

*Stock Team Match data is up to May 8th.
There was no significant difference in pick rates by rule, and Skybolt was the most used overall.
The usefulness of the Predator's Eye for enemy detection in Team Matches and the ability to deal damage with the Hybrid Rifles even if punches are difficult to land are likely major factors.

This time, we introduced the new features of ACT: 2 and looked back at ACT: 1.
