Whispers of the Eyeless has a new Gameplay Reveal Trailer! We are excited to announce that we will be participating in Steam Next Fest, October 14th-21st, and will have a new and improved demo for all to try with significant quality of life improvements and gameplay additions.

- Sanctum renovations (Chambers and Divine Crafts)

After watching the announcement trailer for Whispers of the Eyeless, I have one request: please, do not have that voiceover in the full game. It is hammier than a hamster eating a ham sandwich in Hamburg during a performance of Hamlet. It starts with "The Whispers [of the Eyeless] call to me!!!" and does not improve from there. Beyond that, colour me fairly enthused.

The Dead Gods are immensely pleased with the success of our Kickstarter campaign. They have even given us permission to skip our weekly sacrifice.

We will be returning to the shadows for a time as we continue our dark work on Whispers of the Eyeless, but you can still expect regular updates on our progress. We encourage you to join our discord server as well, though make sure you check your sanity before entering.

Though the Steam demo has disappeared for now, it will be returning in October for the Steam Next Fest. The Dead Gods expect to see you then… or else.

The Dead Gods have approved the release of a new update to the Whispers of the Eyeless demo! The Tales of Aranthor, where you travel to the city or delve into the dungeons in search of loot, have a whole new look and feel. As we continue to work toward our Early Access release, we plan to update the demo with more additions, including specific mechanics that will tie into the overhauled Tales.



General:

- Demo size reduced by 1 GB thanks to file cleaning

Tales:

- First version of the new Dungeon Delve system
- First version of the new city Tales for Old Town
- Added status effects for Aspects
- Added auto-battle option
- Added wounded idle stance for the Prophet and all enemies in Tales
- Combat speed options changes persists between encounters and Tales
- Reworked Tales rewards screen
- Cultist event no longer requires Whispers
- Various minor fixes

Gods also demands from us to remind that we are still on Kickstarter and you can still support the cause of the Dead Gods!
