TEXNOPLAZM Alpha Demo 0.2 UPDATE (Jan 19th 2024)

-CHECKPOINT SYSTEM REWORK
  • When the player respawns, everything gets reset to the status recorded at the last active checkpoint: enemies, player's loadout, score, items lying on the ground, additional interactable items (such as trains), arenas.


-PARRY MECHANIC
  • The 0.025 seconds delay between the button press and the activation of the parry has been removed for both Punch and Ranged Modes: the parry windows instantly activates upon pressing the corresponding input (default E key) with the animation snapping into pose accordingly: the parry window duration has been slightly increased as well.
  • The timeframe for parrying punches and ranged attacks has been quadrupled.


-WEAPON CHANGES
  • Hand Cannon's spread has been reduced and the damage of the single pellets has been increased.
  • Stun Mace's throw attack has a slightly different interaction and windup animation compared to the Steel Pipe.


-VARIOUS
  • Added option to toggle Postprocessing in Video settings.
  • Moveset switch animations.


-BUGS
  • fingerbang bug removed.
  • scroll wheel and key spam for cycling through movesets fixed.
  • disabled VR plugins that erronously launched the Steam and Oculus VR applications with the game.
  • minor fixes.
