Stray Path is Attending G-Fusion 2024 Guangzhou!

Hello everyone!

We are happy to announce that Stray Path will participate in an offline video game expo——the G-Fusion Game Carnival 2024 Guangzhou.

We are very glad and honored that Stray Path has the chance to be presented to the audience along with all the great works there. We prepared the latest version of Stray Path. Come and try the combination of freecell and roguelike!

We will be at the Independent Game Zone D at the southwest part of the carnival. And we have many gifts for you there. You can get them after you experience Stray Path. Looking forward to meeting you!

Update v0.40.09

1.After each revival triggered by the frog, the revival cooldown increases by 1 turn.
2.Temporarily block the drop of the Relic Round Shield.
3.Fix the issue where the upgrade altar in the backpack becomes ineffective when re-entering the game.

Demo V0.40 Updates

I am the game developer, Fan.

It's been almost a month, I and Fat Onino are really happy to see so many people are following our update, we thank you again for your love and support!

During this time, we added art for some monsters and relics. The third level was also updated. Also, there were tons of optimization and adjustment.

[h2]Levels Update[/h2]
- Third level: Mysterious Valley

- New enemies: Bomb Slime, Can, Fish, Stone, Swamp, Mystery, Lizard Mage, Troll, Corruption and Leshen.

- Replaced appearance of some enemies.
- Adjusted rooms in different levels. Now there are 4 types of rooms: Altar, Elite, Resource and Shop. Changed functions and rewards for different rooms.
[h2]Relic Update[/h2]
- New relics: Fairy Wand, Champion Gloves, Sprinter Shoes, Tumbler Toy, Ninja Dummy, Bounty Hat, First Aid, Dragon Egg, Drake, Lucky Probe, Alloy Stick, Inflatable Mushroom, Mushroom Potion and Slime Bomb.

- Changed effects or values for some relics: Natural Shield, Magic Mushroom, Eye, Blue Gem, Assassin Cloak and Black Book.
- Changed names and icons for some relics.
[h2]UI update[/h2]
- Changed Game start menu changed.
- Added some sound effects.
- Changed Character picking interface.
- Character picking interface had a new Journal system entry.
- Character picking interface had a new original relics selection panel. You can select the character-only relics to start with. Those relics need to be unlocked in the Journal system.
[h2]Journal System[/h2]
- Added Journal system. There are three types now: Rogue Catty Journal, Adventure Journal and Relic Journal. You can use souls to unlock Journal items to add extra content.

- If you die or reach the final room in the game, you will be rewarded with souls regarding your game progress. Souls can be used to upgrade Journal.
[h2]Optimization[/h2]
- Game rendering changed from Vulkan to Opengl, supporting lower end PCs running the game.
- More language support and multi-lingual UI fitness.
- Fortune was overhauled: now kill the enemy will gain gold, same as Fortune value.
- Relic upgrade altar increased preview function. Putting relic on the altar will show preview, then you need to confirm for upgrade. You can always pull off the relic on the altar.
- Relic inventory increased to 12 slots. Extra 2 slots need to be unlocked in Journal.
- The attribute panel will prompt colour changes when your attribute is changed.
- Visual fixes: Pick up relic or cards, your cursor will change.
- Relic recycle and card recycle are all scaled to 3 golds. Added a recycle price tip.
- Optimized clicking card logic, fixed some bugs about fast clicking the cards.
- Optimized card applying scenario logic. Now the item cards will be added to card inventory first.
- Added a countdown to enemy ability rounds.
- Fixed the bug that switching relics from altar would cause a game break.
- Fixed some other bugs.
- Updated some game text.
