New roguelike Stray Path blends Slay the Spire and Solitaire, and it's out soon

Card games and roguelikes go together like butter on bread. The unpredictability of a deck of cards and the endless replayability of my favorite genre naturally complement each other, and that's why we see so many excellent examples on Steam. There's Balatro, Slay the Spire, Monster Train, Wildfrost, and even Inscryption. Every one of these games thrives on doing something unique, and I can easily say the same for Stray Path. Blending roguelikes with FreeCell Solitaire, the game is coming to Steam incredibly soon, and there's a demo you can try right now.

We're excited to announce the release date for Stray Path!

🐱Stray Path will be releasing on Steam on Thursday, 6 February 2025 14:00 GMT!

Not all cities are ruled from the top - sometimes the strings are being pulled from the seedy back alleys of the towns themselves. Stray Path takes players on a journey through dark roads and twisted forests, where every choice is crucial as they attempt to find a way out amidst countless dangers and secrets.

From curious cats to buff beast tamers, players must select an adventurer and embark on their adventure. One by one, cards are flipped and the mysteries of the path ahead are revealed. Will there be treasure? Vicious adversaries? Or perhaps even a chance to run? Every decision has a consequence.
