Midsummers Day 2024

It's Midsummer, and ahead of us is a long, slow decline back to winter... Let's avoid maudlin thoughts and stick to the event. Enjoy our usual campaign, 3 competitions and mission in the Classic old-style event where you're out for yourself. The scorer this time around is male Turkeys. Also, we thought we'd use this mission to prime you a bit for the Summer Fiesta ːsteamhappyː Otherwise these events start to feel all the same, don't you find? Don't worry, it's not nearly as hard as the real thing. No, this is not the Summer Fiesta and it is not replacing it.


Participate for the prizes, the trophies, and the glory! The hunter with the most Summer$ at the end of June 25th will win a very generous first prize!

Start: 19 June 2024 (Wednesday) - morning

End: 25 June 2024 (Tuesday) - 23.59 UTC





So how do you collect Summer$?



And this is how the prize pool looks:




This year's mission is called Warm-up Session

True to our word, we're giving you a warm-up for the Summer Fiesta. Also true to our word, it's not as hard as the Fiesta. Only one mission pack, no objective that would make it into the Fiesta's Hard pack (one or two might push into the Medium one during a quiet year). Gear up and get going, Hunter, time and animals wait for no player.

Make sure you hunt the animal in the reserve listed at the start of the objective.

The mission will last through the event duration from the 19th June to the 25th June


Completing it will earn the hunter the following rewards:





Qualifying in a competition awards 100 Summer$ for each comp. You don't need to place, just have an entry.

Each competition comes with 7 tiers based on your Hunter Score:





What would a game be without rules?

We have one simple rule for our events: No exploitation of existing game mechanics to gain an advantage. All winners' hunts will be checked by EW staff prior to prizes being rewarded, and the decision will be final.

In case of exploits usage, EW has a right to disqualify the player from this event.



And what would an Event be without sales? We're not sure, but we do know that we'd get nasty messages if we skipped them, so we've made sure to put sales in.
