Vae Victis - Khan News

The Good News[/p][p]The upcoming update will be a full overhaul of the Marbia quest, including:[/p]

• [p]At least 40 new animations
  [/p]
• [p]~80% of stills re-rendered with sharper detail and improved lighting[/p][p][/p]
• [p]Hairy/Smooth variations for Nahir, Alam and Domia[/p][p][/p]
• [p]Alternate model for Fahda (you’ll still be able to play the “classic” if you’d like)

• [p]Reworked dialogue

• [p]Added sound effects all over the place

[p]Most of the Marbia-related content was created back in 2021, when I was still finding my footing. Looking at it now, I know how far I’ve come, and how much those early scenes needed love. Enclosing a very simple comparison of the same image, one currently in the game, the other from the coming version. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]And Marbia isn’t just the Ziruan oasis quest. It also covers:[/p]

• [p]Fahda’s revisit[/p]
• [p]Nahir’s scenes and Act 2

[p]That’s a lot of content, and a lot of work. But the results speak for themselves: the renders are crisp, the colors more lively, and the animations really bring the lewd scenes to life.[/p][p][/p][h3]The Strange News[/h3][p]You might notice I’m calling this update 0.15 and not 1.0, as originally intended.[/p][p]While I handle art, dialogue, plot, and freelancers, I’ve had a long-time partner, Gojira667, who has been working on the coding side, especially the world map and meta-game systems. Unfortunately, I’ve lost contact with him. My last interaction with him was on July 26, and since then… silence.[/p][p]Because of the privacy involved in working on adult games, I don’t have alternative channels to reach him. If he doesn’t resurface soon, I’ll need to find a new developer. Such is life in the 21st century of distributed teams, I guess.[/p][p]This doesn’t affect my ability to create “pure AVN” content, but it does delay the final release. There are still key Khaganate management features I want in place before I can confidently call the game finished.[/p][h3]Looking Ahead[/h3][p]The update is still coming, and since Alam and Nahir are among the most popular girls in the game, I think you’ll enjoy this return to the oasis.[/p][p]Thank you as always for your support, it means the world.[/p][p]Cheers![/p]

[p]Despite all the threats of taking the game down, I'm determined to give you guys the best game I can.[/p][p][/p][p]I don't want to sink into feelings of doom and gloom, censorship and being left without income. I'd rather think about big melons. Fahda sized melons. [/p][p][/p][p]The models for the Ziruan (Marbia) oasis were chosen four years ago, back when I was just starting out and my experience with 3D aesthetics was far more limited. While the game has grown in popularity, some players have consistently criticized certain models, and I agree that some of them haven’t aged well.[/p][p]Fahda, in particular, seems to be one of the least favored models among players. Since I’m currently revisiting the oasis, this is the perfect opportunity to address that.[/p][p]Please write in the comments below which model you like best. As always, the final decision will be mine; sometimes a model looks great in one set but terrible in another, and I may need to adjust accordingly. But your feedback will help me make the best choice.[/p][p]Cheers!

[p]Hi all![/p][p]As I mentioned in previous posts, I’m currently working on version “1.0” of the game. Alongside new world map mechanics, my main focus right now is revisiting the early parts of the game, mainly Marbia, Oryenguk, Hawatia, and possibly Limtinia. These sections were made when I was just starting out, and looking back at the art and some of the dialogue... well, let’s just say I’ve come a long way since then. That’s the polite way of admitting some of the early content doesn’t hold up.[/p][p]So far, I’ve completely revamped Karder and Alam’s scenes in the Ziruan Oasis. re-rendered all the images and added animations to the lewd scenes. I’m now turning my attention to Karder and Domia, and I had the idea to tweak her skin tone slightly. Hence: this discussion/poll. Please let me know which skin you like best![/p][p]As always, the final decision is mine, but if one version receives overwhelming support, that could absolutely influence my choice.[/p][p]Also, stay tuned for a Fahda discussion/poll in the coming days: should I change her model completely?
