Without further ado, and with great pleasure, we present to you; Act 2! A rough changelog:

• More than double the amount of lewd scenes from Act 1
  
• About 1.5x the amount of story from Act 1
  
• Several new CG's and rooms to discover
  
• More than a dozen additional music tracks to enjoy
  
• Several quality of life improvements based on YOUR feedback
  
• Optimalizations, both on file size and performance
  

A few important notes:
Because we went back to Act 1 and made some much-needed improvements, we decided to double down and add some improvements from what we've learned based on your feedback and from Act 2. This means it is NOT save safe. We're terribly sorry, but we've taken countermeasures to avoid this in the future. Regardless, we invite you to explore Act 1 once more. Most of the story will be as you remember it, but we've made significant improvements on both art, flow and animation which we're sure you'll enjoy!



Due to some technical constraints, we've decided at this time not to extend the Spanish and Dutch translations into Act 2. Simplified Chinese however, is included with this release! We will look into potentially continuing Spanish and Dutch later down the road, if there's enough interest.

In version 0.14, Karder will spend a lot of time with Queen Remy. Since I have updated the model, I'm enclosing updated images of past scenes with the new model, so you guys can "switch" the images in your minds :)

These specific images are already in the game, so if you have been playing 0.13.7 from the beginning you have already seen them.

Version 0.14 will mark the end of the story for Vae Victis - Khan. This doesn’t mean the journey is completely over, but any future updates will focus on infrastructure improvements, tying up loose ends, and similar refinements.

What’s Coming in Version 0.14?

At the start of this chapter, Karder stands on the brink of invading the Western Sister. But just as the campaign is about to begin, a key character vanishes, throwing everything into disarray. Trust among his closest allies is shaken, the secrets of The Harsh Edge remain elusive, and Karder even contemplates delaying the invasion.



The climax of this update will feature a long-awaited moment: Karder finally meets Queen Remy. And yes, expect those “happy reunion” scenes you’ve been waiting for. 😏

But this isn’t the end of Karder’s tale. The story will continue in the next game, tentatively titled Vae Victis - Khan: Across the Sea of Knives. There’s much more to explore, and I can’t wait to take you there.

A Different Format

This update will unfold as a series of scenes, without the usual map or mission structure. Think of it as a cinematic finale to this chapter of the story.

I don’t have a release date just yet, but I’ll keep you updated as development progresses.
