POPUCOM NEXT FEST PLAYTEST GUIDELINES

Dear adventurers!

The Steam Next Fest October 2024 Edition is less than 5 hours away. Are you ready to team up and put your gaming skills to the test? Don't rush just yet. Before diving into the adventure, please take a moment to read through the playtest guidelines!

Q: What is POPUCOM?
A: POPUCOM is a 3D co-op platform adventure game. It features online or local co-op play for up to 4 players. In this game, you will team up with other players and journey through an unknown parallel world. You will face various enemies and use engaging items and techniques to eliminate threats and restore the world to its former glory.
Outside the main gameplay, you can try out a selection of mini-games for a fun-filled session with your friends.

Q: When is the Next Fest demo available?
A: Oct 14, 10:00 AM - Oct 21, 10:00 AM PDT (UTC-7)

Q: How do I access the Next Fest demo? What content does the demo include?
A: The demo is available for free on [PC]. To get the demo, please search [POPUCOM] on Steam to download [POPUCOM Demo].
The demo includes several Story Mode stages where you can try out the main weapon, 4 sub weapons, and a portion of the outfits and cosmetic options. All stages are designed for 2-player co-op and require about 2 - 3 hours to complete."
Please note that the game is still under development, so the demo version does not reflect the final quality of the game.

Q: What language options does the game provide?
A: We plan to add 11 language options to this game. They include:
English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish (Spain), German, French, Russian, Portuguese (Brazil), and Italian.
For the demo version, you can choose between different languages from the [Settings] menu on the main screen.

Q: What are the system requirements for the demo? Does the demo support controllers?
A: The demo can be played with Xbox, PlayStation DualSense, and PlayStation DualShock controllers. System requirements for the demo are as follows:

Windows 10/11 64-bit

Recommended: Intel Core i5-10600 or AMD Ryzen 5 5500
Minimum: Intel Core i5-6400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400

Recommended: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
Minimum: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 550
8GB RAM or higher
15GB free space or higher, SSD Recommended

Q: Does this game support online multiplayer?
A: For the demo, you can use [Online Play] to play online multiplayer with your friends. Access [Story Mode] > [Online] from the main screen, then select [Create room] or [Join room] to start your online multiplayer session.
Please note that we're still adjusting the online multiplayer feature, and this may cause unstable connection during online play sessions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

Q: What are the release date, platforms, and retail price of POPUCOM?
A: After the demo event ends, we will continue polishing the game based on the demo's performance and player feedback. Details about the official release will be announced later through official news. Please stay tuned.

Q: Will my demo progress carry over to the official version?
A: No. Progress made in the demo will not carry over.
After the demo period ends, we will adjust game content based on player experience and feedback. As such, the official version will differ from the demo and your game progress will therefore be reset.

Q: Can I stream the demo, create videos about it, or post demo content on social media platforms?
A: We encourage players to share their gameplay footage and thoughts during the demo period. You can post content in various formats, including text, screenshots, videos, and live streams. Feel free to choose your preferred format to share on social media.
However, hacking or circulating the game's installation files or client are strictly forbidden. Illegitimate and/or infringement activities like datamining the installation files or client, unauthorized use of game assets, intentional defamation of the game, etc. are also not allowed. We reserve the right to take legal action against such behaviors.

Q: The game suddenly freezes, crashes, or does not respond to my inputs.
A: Please contact us via the customer service mailbox and provide the following information:
- Your account info (Find your Steam ID by following these steps: While in the Steam client, click the avatar at the top right > Select "Account details" > Your Steam ID will be at the top of the page)
- Device information (Right click the Start menu > Click Device Manager)
- Description of the bug & Steps to reproduce the bug
- Videos and/or screenshots
- Game log (File name: Player.log. Path: C:\Users\xxx\AppData\LocalLow\Hypergryph\Popucom)
