Mac version released!

[p]After many trials and tribulations, I can finally announce the release of the Mac (Apple Silicon) version of the game and the demo. That release is...NOW! It's already out![/p][p][/p][p]I won't go into detail about all the problems that delayed this for 2 weeks, what matters is that it's finally done. This would not have been possible without the help of Mac testers SpecOps and RavEN. Thank you so much.[/p][p][/p][p]Now, there is a bit of an elephant in the room. This version is specifically for Apple CPUs. I can make a version for Intel, but Steam does not have an option to have them separate, and fusing both versions is a whole other problem. From what I know, the vast majority of Mac users use Silicon, so this shouldn't be a big deal. But if you can't play the game because you only have Intel and only use MacOS, let me know in the comments here, the discussion board, or the Discord server.[/p]

Quality of Life Upgrades and more fixes!

Hi! After getting more player feedback, I decided to make an important change to one of the game's features, a secret menu that was intended to be found naturally by the player, but ended up being too important and too well hidden for many.

After many adjustments, I've decided to let it go and make the secret as clear as possible and add direct explanations in the bad endings where you would need it the most. I'm being vague about it because I still want it to be a bit of a surprise, even if the way to access it isn't, which I'll add here for good measure: Open your BARMAN and click the timer.

On top of that, I improved that menu by adding To-do lists on investigation choices and point markers to track your progress and making the game a lot easier to navigate without a guide. If you don't know what I'm talking about, don't worry, you'll see.

Finally, I fixed more bugs, the most important one being the one from Endings 12 and 13. Sorry to everyone who had trouble with those!

Final update for today, I swear! (Probably)

-Fixed a common crash that didn't exist until today.
-Fixed a bug related to texts not appearing that was caused by one of today's bug fixes.

Sometimes you fix a bug and you create two in its place... Sorry, I'm doing all I can! Should be fine now.

The game is out! Welcome to the Golden Jack!

The doors of the Golden Jack are finally open to all customers!
[p][/p]
You have been chosen to play a game.

You have been poisoned.

It's a slow poison. If you play my visual novel you will receive the antidote and a pretty cool mystery story experience.

If you want to come out alive, you'll have to purchase, especially before the 10% discount on the first week ends.
[p][/p]
Signed, Tohriv and the GJ Staff
[p][/p][p]PD: Support for MacOS will come at a future date.[/p]

Demo now available for Linux!
Good news for Linux users! The demo version is out now.
[p]And I can finally confirm that the Linux version of the game will be available on release day, November 14. That's only 9 days away![/p][p]It's been confirmed to work on a Steam Deck too, but I can't guarantee that the controls are fully compatible. The game has been designed for keyboard and mouse, with some scenes requiring a mouse to proceed, but controller options will be looked into after launch.[/p][p]As for a MacOS version, we're working on it, but there's some technical problems with launching the game. If it can't make it to launch, we'll keep trying and make it available as soon as possible.[/p]
