New gallery extra added!

[p]A new unlockable has been added to the gallery extras! A really cool artwork comissioned by a fan of the game, Coffy, drawn by Kamonabe Pasta. It has been added to the game with their permission. Big thank you to both![/p][p]You can unlock it by reaching the game's true end, it's the last one in the list (which unfortunately it's no longer a perfect square, but the sacrifice is worth it). If you already have, it will be unlocked automatically when you open the game.[/p]

Winter Sale + Soundtrack now on Steam!

[p]The Steam Winter Sale has begun! You can now buy the game at 10% off. Same discount as on launch week.[/p][p]Plus, you can now buy the soundtrack on Steam! 30 tracks in high quality FLAC format so you can enjoy them at their absolute best. All OST sales will go to the composer.[/p][p]If you haven't bought the game yet, please give it a shot! The free demo will give you a big taste of it, but I'd really appreciate getting your support on this passion project so it can go beyond.[/p]

Original Soundtrack released

[p][/p][p]The official soundtrack is out! One of the most lauded aspects of the game.[/p][p]Created by the talented Sonos Vitae, with main theme composition by Alvaro Suárez, the soundtrack has a gran total of 30 songs! The cover was drawn by assistant artist and Poker's number 1 fan, RavEN.[/p][p]You can listen to it for free on Youtube, or buy it for high quality FLAC files and to support the composer.[/p][p]A Steam release will be be out before the end of the month, but it had to be delayed due to Steam's publishing policies (no weekend releases, have to wait at least 2 weeks since the page is made public).[/p]

Major save bug fixed!

[p]Hello, I bring great news![/p][p]It took a while to figure out, but perhaps the most troublesome bug since release has finally been fixed! For those unaware, some players had reported that their loading times when loading a save were getting bigger as they played, to the point of taking several minutes by the end of it. It was bad enough that it looked like the game froze.[/p][p]The reason ended up being very simple: the engine wasn't properly removing the data from scenes when switching to the next one, so it kept piling up and making huge save files.[/p][p]Now all unneeded data is properly purged when a scene ends. So if you have been having trouble when loading, just make sure to reach the end of a scene and save after it. Next time you load it, it'll be extremely fast![/p][p]This change should improve the game's performance, too. Another big step towards making the experience as smooth as possible. If you know of any serious bug that hasn't been fixed yet, let me know here or on the Discord server![/p]

More improvements and fixes!

[p]Hi! As you might have noticed, I've been busy ever since release fixing bugs and improving the game. I've barely done any patch notes because working on the game is already a lot of work, but as updates have slowed down, I felt like making one for today's update.[/p][p][/p][p]I won't go into details about the bug fixes, but the main ones are related to flag problems when moving through time in the not-secret-anymore Time menu, especially when repeating paths. If you didn't hear about it, though the game explains it too, you can access it by clicking on the Time in the BARMAN. I made big improvements to it about a week ago, making it easier to know where you need to go, what you haven't done during investigations, and branch buttons that let you switch back and forth.[/p][p][/p][p]Now, thanks to more feedback and having more time to focus on QoL, I've made the following changes:[/p]
  • [p]Added a Time-Out to Councils 4, 5, and 6. Their structure made it hard to add them, but after some thinking I found the points that make the most sense.[/p]
  • [p]The skip function will now disable (and skip will be stopped) whenever an intervention chance shows up. That way, you can skip around without having to worry about going past one. You'll still have to react in time before it dissapears though! I recommend being careful whenever the billiard table shows up.[/p]
[p]It's not too much compared to previous updates, but it should help a lot. I'm aware that one of the biggest criticisms has been some of the gameplay, so I'm doing what I can to improve it, even if it means having to let go of some things. I still don't want to add a "save anytime" option in councils, though. At least not one that can be found easily. But who knows, try to tell the game to HOLD UP and it might listen![/p]
