Devlog: Welcoming Spring and New Master Adventurers!

Hello Innkeepers!

Spring is peeking around and we've got little plant friends for our studio to welcome it. And you'll also be glad to hear that we will also be welcoming some new guests at the Dungeon Inn!

[h2]Adventurers Incoming![/h2]

We have been hard at work creating new Master Adventurers and their visitation events. We'll continue to add more and more Master Adventurers!

Here's a sneak peek into some of the characters and events we have prepared:


Our end goal is to include 30 of them in the game. We put in a lot of thought into crafting each and every one of our adventurers, but especially our Master Adventurers, so that each of them will be a unique and interesting guest to the inn!

We also have two more super interesting adventurers that will be added to the roster soon!

And what's so interesting about them? Well, they were born from our players' suggestions! Here are the lovely characters that came from your suggestions



We'd love to thank everyone for your enthusiastic participation! We saw a lot of incredible ideas and we really had a hard time picking these two from all the amazing suggestions. We will treat our bug and pumpkin mages with a lot of care and we hope you'll be nice to them when they visit your inn!

[h2]Monthly Tribute[/h2]
Next, we will be working on changing the calculation method of the Monthly Rank by adding monthly target amount and revising the criteria for the monthly rewards (i.e. the special tokens). Currently, the existing rank calculation method was too simplistic and it might get boring if it has to be repeated 12 times through the game. We also wanted to avoid players' low performance in the first one or two stages hindering them for the rest of the game.

That is why we are restructuring the goals such that they are more motivating than punishing for you! We want Dungeon Inn to be a fun game for you and so we created a more dynamic reward system.

We've also made it such that the conditions for achieving the monthly goal are only affected by the current difficulty level. Previously, the monthly target amount varied depending on the week of the month that you change the difficulty level. That is why we believe that this change will make the game more manageable for those who decide to change the difficulty level later on in the game!

We hope the changes we've made to the monthly goals will be well-received by you, and that it will help make Dungeon Inn's game experience much smoother!

Hello!

We're excited to announce the details of our new update, which we've prepared based on the feedback we've received from you all!

You can now enjoy with a game controller!
If you have any inconveniences while playing with the game controller or have any other good ideas on how to control it, please let us know! We will wait for you.

[h3](2) New Function - Continue Stage[/h3]
You can now stop playing a stage and continue from the title scene.
Please note that you can only continue from the last point you stopped at.

Devlog: Working on Controller Input and More Adventurers!

Hello Innkeepers!

You asked for controllers and Steam deck support, and we heard you! We are very hard at work making that a reality!

Actually, the existing input system was rather outdated and we had to revamp the input system to something that is more up-to-date, and that process has been quite a challenge. We will be taking this as an opportunity to learn something new while we continue to work on this! This is all still a work-in-progress and we hope you will be patient with us!



We are also working on a feature that will allow players to resume playing a stage at a later time from the Title Scene when they stop playing. We believe it will add convenience to the current play. Not to mention, it will be of greater help in the Infinite Mode that we are currently still working on!

We are also working on adding more adventurers that can visit the inn! Here are some of them :D

Devlog: Sneak Peek on Our Future Updates!

Hello Innkeepers!

It has been a fruitful start of the new year. After our Early Access launch, we received a lot of kind and helpful feedback so we rolled up our sleeves and began the work of improving Dungeon Inn!

[h3]New Difficulty[/h3]
Psst! As we said previously, there is a new difficulty level after listening to a variety of requests to add more difficulty levels! If you haven't checked it out yet, be sure to give our new difficulty level, Enjoyable, a try!



[h3]More Adventurers to Come![/h3]
We are also working on adding more adventurers to the roster of visitors! There is a joy in collecting as many guests as possible and discovering new guests so we are hoping to add a bigger variety of adorable adventurers for you to trick invite into your inn!

These are all just work-in-progress images of some of our adventurers!



[h3]Working on more content[/h3]
We are currently working on improving the story flow. After hearing that so many players greatly enjoyed the story and cannot wait to see the future chapters!

We also are incredibly grateful to hear that so many of you enjoyed the gameplay and are eager to try the game on infinite mode. So of course, we have to move our plans for the infinite mode forward on our timeline! It will still take some time to complete and we are hard at work doing our own research!

We are also continuing to work on Steam deck compatibility at the request of so many players


Once again, we are ever so grateful to all our players.

We are genuinely touched that so many of you have enjoyed this game we have crafted. During a subculture festival in South Korea, fans of Dungeon Inn come to our booth to talk to us. As I was tidying up the booth after the exhibition, I was overcome with emotion.

It warms our heart to hear that so many people have enjoyed various aspects of Dungeon Inn. This fact is what pushes us to keep improving our game, and there are many things we still are working on! Thank you for your support as usual and we hope to bring you more joy with our game! :D

We're excited to announce the details of our new update, which we've prepared based on the feedback we've received from you all!

You can now use the Steam Cloud Service.

[h3](2) Additional Collection Elements[/h3]
'Gallery' and 'Video Log' menus have been added.
You can now watch the illustrations and prologue videos again on the Lounge Scene.

[h3](3) Added Loading Screen and One-Line Tips[/h3]
A loading screen has been added when going back and forth between the Stage Scene and the Lobby Scene.
You can also find short tips from Wispie on the loading screen!

[h3](4) Improved Video Tutorials[/h3]
We have changed the format of the video files used in the tutorials and improved video playback performance.

[h3](5) Fixed Minor Bug[/h3]
Fixed a bug where the game would freeze when a player failed the quest to have May visit the inn.
