Rogue Samurai Content Update

Hey Samurai!

We've been hard at work behind the scenes, forging new features and enhancements for Rogue Samurai, and we can't wait to show you what's new!

First up, let's talk weapons! We've added two brand new weapons for you to master. Whether you prefer the swift precision of a bow or the brute force of a naginata, we've got you covered.


And guess what? Now, you can upgrade your weapons at the blacksmith! Bring your favorite tools of destruction to new heights and dominate the battlefield.


We've also waved goodbye to the damage rune. It had a good run, but it's time for something fresh.

Say hello to the new faces in Miyamoto Village! We've added a blacksmith and Musashi models to give the village more life and character.

Watch out for the new enemy types and behaviors! Now you’ll face kamikaze monks diving at you and sumo wrestlers leaping like hulks. They’re here to keep you on your toes!


Are you ready for our new event? Step into the Cage, where you must survive for 30 seconds. If you succeed, Dana White might just want to sign you! But beware, life is full of surprises—sumos and kamikazes will be charging at you in the cage!


We've added 13 new passive skills. We know 13 is an unlucky number, but we hope it brings you good fortune!


In terms of balance, we've adjusted the in-game economy. Now, you might feel a bit more... financially challenged in the game. 💸

New to the game? No worries! We’ve added a tutorial for rookies to get you started on your journey.


Achievement hunters, rejoice! We’ve added 35 new achievements, with 2 hidden ones for you to discover. Happy hunting!

Leveling has been rebalanced. It's now easier to level up in the early stages, but it gets progressively harder as you advance.

Lastly, we’ve balanced the existing passive skills to ensure a smoother gameplay experience.

Rogue Samurai Content Update

Hey Samurais!

After a long break, we’ve been cooking up some awesome new features for Rogue Samurai, and we’re super excited to share them with you!

First up, we’ve added two brand new maps.

Welcome to the Dojo! This is where you’ll face your first enemies. Just like Musashi’s legendary journey, your first checkpoint is this dojo. Battle rookies and bosses here to sharpen your skills.


Say hello to Oda Castle! This map offers a grittier experience with its darker tones and colors. We hope you love the vibe!


But that’s not all! We’ve also added some amazing new skills. Buddha himself lends you a hand, striking down your enemies from the clouds above.


And guess what? You can now have a pet! Call upon a mighty dragon, tamed right here in our studio with lots of effort, to help you in your battles.


We've made tons of improvements too. Check out the list:

-Completely reworked the skill system.
-Improved the Runes UI.
-Added a new UI to portals so you can see your stats and compare them with friends.
-Fixed issues with gamepads.
-Made it easier to level up during your sessions.
-Optimized the game economy.

Rogue Samurai Update

Hey Samurais, we added some updates based on your feedbacks.

[Bug Fixes]

-The issue where active abilities couldn't be used again after casting the "Lightning Bolt" ability has been fixed.
-Error occurring while collecting experience gems has been fixed.
-Particle effects for "Explosion" skill have been fixed.
-Issue causing the sea to disappear when graphics settings are not set to high has been fixed.


[Small Improvements]

-Colliders for small rocks have been removed.
-Arrows have been made more visible.

Rogue Samurai Gameplay Update

Hey Samurais, we added some updates based on your feedbacks.


[Gameplay]

The character now rotate manually. [Keyboard + Mouse ("Towards Cursor"), Controller ("Right Analog")]
Now attacks towards the front of the character, not just the nearest enemy.
Enemies now engage in direct attacks instead of simply running straight towards the player.

[Minor Improvements]

Optimization improvements.
Improvements made to the camera, reducing shake.
In-game upgrade screen now closes when the open button is clicked again.
Increased the experience required to acquire active skills and runes.


[Added]

Added the "Student Archer" enemy to the game.
Added damage feedback to enemies.


[Bug Fixes]

Fixed a bug causing damage not to increase and critical hit damage to be miscalculated.
Fixed a bug causing the "Kami Speed" ability to one shot boss.
Fixed an issue where the volume of some in-game sound effects couldn't be adjusted.
Fixed the error causing V-Sync to not work properly.

Rogue Samurai Hotfix

Hey Samurais, we added some quick hotfixes based on your feedbacks.

-Fixed an issue causing grass not to render on the screen after adjusting camera height and width.
-Resolved an error causing distortion in the image when lowering the camera height to its minimum.
-Reduced the running speed of enemies.
-Fixed a problem causing visual settings not to be saved.
-Player attack range increased.
-Graphics can now be adjusted from the settings section.
-Increased the maximum number of enemies that can appear on the scene simultaneously.
-Enemy spawn rate increased.
-Enhanced the damage and health of low-level enemies.
