Cities Skylines' latest DLC brings one of Tokyo's most popular districts to life

Have you ever played a game so much that its creators honor you in some form? For most of us that's a pipedream, no matter how many hours we've put in. But that's the case with Cities Skylines, which has embraced the imaginations of high-profile players in content creator packs. The latest iteration of these includes a pack inspired by Shibuya, Japan and a map pack focusing on iconic rivers and coastlines, as well as a brand new radio station inspired by Japan's nightlife.

After 6 months of silence, Cities Skylines is getting a new content pack

Cities Skylines 2 came out back in 2023, but Paradox Interactive has continued to support its predecessor, Cities Skylines, even after the sequel's launch. This is a good thing, especially given that the first Cities Skylines has established itself as a beloved entry to a genre that also includes popular games like Anno 1800, Tropico 6, and SimCity 4. Fortunately, Paradox is still adding in fresh material, with two new creator packs and a radio station just announced for a quickly approaching launch.

Shops of Shibuya by ‘Stop it D.’, Map Pack 4 by Uncle Ron, and Harumi Nights Radio Station, all implemented by Tantalus Media![/p][h2]Shops of Shibuya[/h2][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]Discover one of Japan's most iconic districts with Shops of Shibuya, created by community creator ‘Stop it D.’ This Content Creator Pack brings the broad selection of the Shibuya area to players’ cities, with sleek storefronts, bustling boulevards, and tucked-away sidestreets known only to locals and fashion-forward visitors. Featuring a mix of low and high-density commercial buildings, unique buildings, and parks, this pack captures the energy of a trendy fashion district.[/p][p][/p][p]‘Shops of Shibuya’ contains:[/p]

From tropical archipelagos to alpine fjords, these maps and 10 new intersections let players create cities in a unique but realistic setting.[/p][p][/p][p]‘Map Pack 4’ contains:[/p]

[p][/p][h2]Harumi Nights[/h2][p][/p][p]Included in the bundle (and sold separately) is also the all new Radio Station ‘Harumi Nights’. The Radio Station adds music inspired by the neon-lit streets and vibrant nightlife of modern Japan.
