General Update
Hey all! A few quick updates:
We've reached several milestones this week.
Over 1.3k wishlists on Steam! If you primarily use Steam and haven't wishlisted yet, you can do so here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2560100/Midnight_Special/
Manly's YouTube video of our demo surpassed 200k views, which is mindboggling to us, and we're super grateful. You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wre5xDO1aR0
If you don't use Steam, here's the https://scaredstupidinc.itch.io/midnight-special link.
Finally, we've finished the Angel Animations, and here's a still of the final product:
We'll update soon with more mechanics. Have a wonderful day!
New Demo Update #4
Hey all!
New builds are available for both Mac and Windows:
Fixes:
UI issues Selection issues (these may still occur in some places, but eventually we'll fix all of them) Logic issues New features:
Beta testing of the Vinyl Play In Reverse mechanic Also, check out this new still of one of the new enemies in the game - meet the Angel. Is it going to be reminiscent of a certain famous Dr. Who villain? Only time will tell.
New Mechanic Added!

Hey guys!
We've updated the Vinyl Player System. Now, when you find vinyl, you can stop the record player, select it, and enter a QTE. The UI and the system are still a work in progress, but it always makes us happy when we can add another organic reference to the '80s into the story. It's official—we're joining the Satanic Panic.
New Demo Update #2 - Blood trail Update + Text Scroll
Hey all! Hope everybody's having a wonderful day! We've updated both the itch.io build and the Steam build with a new update.
Changes in the new build:
Added a blood trail in the woods for better visibility of a hidden interactable object Changed text scrolling direction from left to right instead of from center to left (at the request of a fan) Have a wonderful day, everyone!
