We truly appreciate your patience, and we’d love for you to share your feedback in the comments on the Steam Community. We’re listening.

A heartfelt thank-you to all the curators, media, content creators and players who supported us with such generosity and encouragement. Your help brought us here.

We’re aiming for a full release sometime in 2026, with more content, features, polish, and secrets to uncover.

A choice of two Midnights

Today, 8th May, is a day of compound darkness, for it sees the release of (at least) two games with "midnight" in the title: Midnight Special from Scared Stupid Inc, and The Midnight Walk from Moonhood. A coincidence? Absolutely not. This is clearly an occult configuration of daunting power. It's also an opportunity to briefly compare two video game aesthetics, each comparably dense, tasty and insidious.

Huge Menus Overhaul

Hi all,

I'm sure you've noticed that the menus have been off and very buggy over the past few days (more like a week), and I'd like to apologize to everyone who took the time to play our pre-release build and had to deal with these issues.

The good news is that the new menu system—though not yet 100% operational or fully tested—is performing quite well and is included in the pre-release full version of the game. A demo version with all these improvements will be released soon, so bear with us until then.

In addition to the menus, many other issues have been fixed, performance improvements have been implemented, and the game should feel much smoother as a result.

That being said, if you notice anything annoying in the game—related to menus or any other bugs—feel free to contact us. We take this kind of stuff very seriously, and we genuinely appreciate your patience.

In the meantime, here’s a little sneak peek at a new puzzle we’re working on. There’s not much to go on yet, but the animation turned out really well.
