Speaking of the demo, we've just released a small content update to implement some quality of life changes. More info below:

• Vsync: is now enabled by default.
  
• Roll Rooms: Added extra safety measures to avoid Fortune getting stuck when thrown
  
• Relics & Spell Cards: has updated icon visuals
  
• Map fast travel: Bug fixed where the player could get stuck when teleporting.

Wield four distinct, fully upgradable weapons - each with its own unique fighting style:

• Sword of Sixtopia - Agile and precise for quick strikes.
  
• Helleven’s Hammer - Heavy and mighty for crushing blows.
  
• Sevendipity Striker - Deadly and swift for high-impact combat.
  
• Lance of Lady Luck - A piercing force with unmatched reach.
  

Combine your weapons with relics, abilities, and Fortune itself to craft a playstyle that suits you best.

Leverage the brand-new colour-matching relic system to gain powerful buffs and upgrades during your runs. If you fall in battle, fear not! You’ll return to the Sanctuary, where you can purchase permanent upgrades, take on quests to uncover the mysteries of the Black Die, and even change up your wardrobe before your next attempt.

Along the way, you’ll meet helpful characters like Mannie Chex, whose shop is always full of useful surprises, and Wager Rollins, who offers high-stakes gambles that could lead to incredible rewards - or dire consequences.

The dice have been cast! The official demo for Lost in Random: The Eternal Die is available now on Steam (and coming to Xbox tomorrow for all you multi-platform folks!)

Enter the Eternal Die
Step back into the whimsical, dark fantasy world of Random - this time with a roguelite twist. In this free demo, you’ll experience the first of four enchanting yet perilous worlds as Queen Aleksandra and her loyal die-companion, Fortune.

Armed with your trusty sword, exciting ability cards, a new relic system, and, of course, Fortune, you’ll take on formidable foes and maybe even defeat the first world boss - if luck is on your side.

But don’t worry if you die. Each time you return to the Sanctuary, you’ll have a chance to upgrade your skills and weapons, catch your breath, and prepare for your next run. Be sure to chat with the quirky inhabitants of the Black Die, whether it’s seeking wisdom from Chance, honing your skills with Aama, or browsing Rack’s weapon stash (just be ready for his terrible jokes).



Build, Experiment, and Adapt

Synergy is everything in The Eternal Die. This is your chance to experiment before the full release later this year, where you’ll be able to choose from four powerful and fully upgradeable weapons, 15 ability cards, and over 100 relics to customise your playstyle.



The Next Chapter of Lost in Random

Beyond the battles, this demo offers a first glimpse into the story of Queen Aleksandra - once the revered ruler of Random, now stripped of her powers and trapped within the merciless trials of the Black Die. As you explore, you’ll face enemies, encounter allies like Mannie Dex’s ever-changing shop and Wager Rollins’ risky dice games, and uncover secrets that may aid your escape.



One thing’s for sure - this is only the beginning! With the full release planned for later this year, there’s much to look forward to.
