Leveling & Difficulty Changes (V1.3)

- Added a new dynamic difficulty system. The game now automatically adjusts the difficulty between floors based on a variety of factors, mostly relating to skill level. This feature is subtle and will generally have the biggest impact on players who are either very good or very bad.
- Dynamic difficulty does not affect the abyss, instead abyss enemies now become stronger over time.
- Added new special cards to leveling. Special cards are rarer than the standard weapon and stat cards, and include upgrades to bonus chance, rerolls, boosts, cursed cards, powerups, and more. More special cards will likely be added in the future.
- Reroller can now be upgraded to tier 5 in the shop menu.
- Reduced EXP needed to level up.
- Various other minor tweaks and bug fixes.

Note: Will probably be tweaking the difficulty system over time, post your feedback if it's giving you trouble. :)

Minor Update (V1.24)

​- Added a new halo effect to torches.
- Fixed a calculation error with the speed stat, speed upgrades should have a bit more impact now.
- Re-balanced the fairy's healing ability.
- Adjusted the pitch variation of certain sounds.

Minor Update (V1.23)

V1.23
- Added pitch variation to various sound effects to reduce audio fatigue.
- Miniboss elites now only spawn from elite spawners.
- The fairy now heals players periodically.
- The Phoenix Feather flame trail now has higher damage scaling.
- Some players may notice improved performance.

Minor Update (V1.22)

- The Ring of Fortune now triples loot drops, but only applies to mimics and treasure thieves.
- Increased the cap on how much loot thieves can drop when the Ring of Fortune is active.
- The Dark Dragon now fires a few more red projectiles and alternates its purple/pink projectiles.
- Increased the amount of gems dropped by dragons.

Elite Hotfixes (V1.21)

​- Reduced cost of the Elite Skull to 1000 and updated the sprite to be more "elite".
- Fixed a bug where incorrect enemies would spawn in the abyss in elite mode.
- Fixed a bug where certain enemies would have incorrect sprites in elite mode.
- Fixed a rare crash that was possible only in elite mode.
- Fixed improper gold values displaying in the relic shop.
