Demo update 1.1.3

A few small fixes in Demo 1.1.3 of Golel.

There is now an instructions Dialog for new players.
There is now a portrait of the character in the character dialog.

Demo update 1.1.2

Hello,

On this 1.1.2 update I have added a few things that were requested.

Now there is a "Loading" word when loading new level, and not just blank screen.
You can change the size of every dialog separately, instead of all together.
You now have an "Alt strafe" key.
With the left alt, you can press alt + A or S, and it will strafe instead of rotate.
You can select the arrow keys or set up those keys for how it suits you.


If you find any bug, please report it over here or in the discussions.
I was only able to test this version's monitor, so tomorrow I will also test the VR.

What is in the Demo?

Golel Demo contains the first chapter of the game.
It is about 4 hours of gameplay, with multiple build paths for your character.
You can choose different talents, attributes, and weapons to fight your way through.

You can play either in monitor, or VR.

The state of the Demo

The demo is quite stable, but there may be some bugs.

Playtest available soon and news.

Hi,

I am working toward a playtest of a test campaign.
As for now I am sitll not sure about the scale and story of the full campaign or even the full demo.
I have decided to finish the test campaign and send it for playtesters and also influencers.

The test campaign is almost finish, I am at the last map with the final boss.

A lot of quality of life, and requested improvements were added.

Dev blog Update: 2024/3/30

Hello,

I would like to show you a few of the many things I worked on since the last update.

First I would like to show you the most recent weapon skills demonstration.
These are of course only some of the skills, and thre will be more. But it will give you a little clue.
There also skills who are general fighter skills, like kicking and evading, getting into rage. But those are not shown here.

Another thing I would like to show you, is some of the quality of life I have added.
Things like Quick Item, and some essential tool tips.
This video also demonstrate some level with nice decorations.
It is also possible to search monster bodies for loot.

Here is some test demonstration of battle with Gnomes in VR, it doesn't have all the latest updates of the quality of life, but it's nice to see.

I am also working on a possible daylight maps.



This does not show all the progress made, but it shows some highlights.
The next goal is to have a playtest and then also a Demo.
