Patch 5 - Automated Exploration (1.0.7)

[p][/p]
Automated Exploration
[p]Requested by quite a few people, here is Automated Exploration:[/p]
  • [p]Select one or more Scouts and press the ‘Automated Exploration’ button in the ‘Selected Forces’ window (bottom right) or the ‘A’ key to command them to Auto-Explore.[/p]
  • [p]Giving a Scout any other command will cancel their Auto-Explore.[/p]
  • [p]Auto-Exploring Scouts will go to any Star Systems without other friendly Scouts and scan all planets there, then move on to the next.[/p]
  • [p]This uses the AI behaviour, so where Scouts go is based on calculated prioritisation.[/p]
  • [p]When all Planets are scanned, the Scouts will continuously cycle through every Star System repeatedly, indefinitely updating your map.[/p]
[p][/p][p][/p]

Destroy Completed Civil Projects
• [p]Completed Civil Projects can now be deleted by pressing the cross icon next to them.[/p]
  • [p]This does not apply to the ‘Hall’ Project or Projects that provide construction slots - ‘Space Station’, ‘Capital Shipyard’, ‘Space Elevator’, ‘Electromagnetic Factory, & ‘Zero-G Construction Site’.[/p]
[p][/p][p][/p]

UI
• [p]Icons fanned out around an Icon Group now always appear in front of nearby Planets, making them easier to interact with.[/p]
  • [p]Added Star System name to “Enemy Fleet Detected” notifications.[/p]
  • [p]Transparency of icons not under cursor now changes gradually, rather than instantly as previously.[/p]
  • [p]Added a warning icon in the Planet Industry tab to indicate low Machine growth. (Maintaining Machine growth through a game is key to planet and faction development).[/p]
  • [p]Added some text to the Fleet Formation tab to indicate how to move Ships between formation lines.[/p]
  • [p]Made the buttons for closing windows slightly bigger.[/p]
[p][/p][p][/p]

Tutorial
• [p]The ‘Happiness’ and ‘Disorder’ tutorials now trigger if a planet’s happiness drops below 35%, addressing an issue where players were not aware that too many armies on the surface was causing population loss.[/p]
[p][/p]

Bugs
• [p]Fixed issue with resources not showing on planets not yet inhabited.[/p]
  • [p]Various typos and text correction.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed incorrect rotation in Colony Ships in Space Battle view.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed incorrect values in Project Operation Cost tooltip.[/p]

Patch 4 - UI Hot Fixes (1.0.6)

[p]Bugs[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue with the latest focused window being moved when dragging the cursor to move the camera.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a crash when clicking button to select the next tech when a tech tree has been completed. (Thanks to ‘Hidde’).[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug with the Council Level tooltip showing the wrong number of armies prevented from causing unhappiness. (Thanks to ‘VzioNARY’).[/p]

Patch 3 - Tooltips & Crash Fixes

[p][/p][p][/p]
Tooltips
[p]Added tooltips to help indicate:[/p]
  • [p]Sources of Income.[/p]
  • [p]Destinations of Costs.[/p]
  • [p]Sources of Research.[/p]
[p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]I'll be adding more of these soon.[/p][p][/p]

Crash Fixes
[p]Fixed a crash caused by some key bindings.[/p][p]Fixed a crash on AMD when windows overlapped the sides of the screen.[/p][p]
[/p]

Crash Hotfix

[p]Hi everyone[/p][p][/p][p]This is a crash caused by having save files from older versions of the demo.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you to Rich S, John M, and Jon O for their crush dumps, which helped me identify the source of the crash.[/p][p][/p][p]If you experience any crashes while playing Stellar Reach, the game may export a crash dump to your user directory: '/Users//Stellar Reach' (for me it's 'C:/Users/james/Stellar Reach'). You can then email those to [email protected] and I'll take a look. I appreciate your support with this. These don't seem to be generated for everyone, which is probably based on local settings, so don't worry if you can't find them.[/p][p][/p][p]Thanks for you patience[/p][p]James[/p]

Patch 2 - Graphics Settings

[p][/p]

[p][/p][p]Based on community feedback, there are a few changes to graphics settings.[/p]
Options
• [p]Added settings:[/p]
    • [p]Display Mode[/p]
    • [p]Window border thickness.[/p]
    • [p]Window reflection intensity.[/p]
    • [p]Window transparency.[/p]
    • [p]Skybox brightness.[/p]
  • [p]Anit-Aliasing (toggleable).[/p]
  • [p]Added option to customise the keys for:[/p]
    • [p]Toggling the pause menu.[/p]
    • [p]Switching between Fullscreen and Windowed.[/p]
      • [p]Alt+Enter is now also a default combination.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issue with input mappings not always saving correctly[/p]
[p][/p]

[p][/p]
UI
• [p]Added a Scout Window, so players can edit the names of Scouts.[/p]
  • [p]The last touched window is not always in focus so will respond to input. Previously clicking off the window would cause it to lose focus and stop responding to input.[/p]
  • [p]Unfocused windows now have slightly darker borders to help indicate where the focus is.[/p]
  • [p]Made editable textboxes easier to interact with, including making the pencil symbol initiate editing.[/p]
  • [p]Changed the main hotkey for closing windows from ‘Backspace’ to ‘Q’. ‘Backspace’ still works.[/p]
[p]Updated localisation for all non-English languages.[/p][p]New icon added for the ‘Universal Variator’ Project.[/p]

[p][/p]
Bug Fixes
