Back in the day, Ichigo used to be THE model for chocolate adverts, he was very much a Big Deal(™), and was the ubiquitous face of Valentine’s Day and White Day. One day he reached his limit and had enough of showbiz, so he finally decided to chase his dreams and buy a farm. His farm is struggling due to the high price his premium strawberries carry and the lack of tourists in town.
Michi and Pinky convince him to work with them despite Ichigo’s doubts at being associated with a yakuza.
Mr. Love wants to use the money he earns from mascot work to fund modernising his farm, buying more eco-friendly equipment and starting to freeze dry his strawberries so he can ship them out of this remote town. Can you help him succeed in his agricultural dream?
Developer notes:
Ichi was designed by our art director, Rachel, as we wanted to get some cuter mascots in the game. We didn’t want to just make a sweet and cute mascot however, we decided to give him a tough edge which we had great fun with when writing his story.
We had a shiba inu at the beginning of development before she sadly passed away, and it just felt wrong not to have a shiba mascot in the game.
