Game Patch Notes - Version 0.1.2

Fixes and Improvements

Construction Improvements:

  • Place three ceilings side by side without needing support poles.
  • Connect ceilings directly to roofs without the need for poles.
  • Pole sizes have been adjusted to match wall sizes, simplifying the building process.


Gameplay Adjustments:

  • Players will drop the clothing they were wearing upon dying.
  • Enhanced the late day sky colors for a more visually appealing experience.
  • Flashlights will now automatically turn on when selected, though you can still manually switch them off as needed.


Crafting System:

  • You can now cancel the first item in your crafting queue. To indicate progress, we've added a gear wheel animation status update.


GUI Enhancements:

  • Resolved tooltip display issues for actions such as Destroy, Pick Up Item, etc.
  • Introduced the ability to cancel the first item in the crafting queue, with a gear wheel icon animation indicating the item's status for clearer feedback.

Game Patch Notes - Version 0.1.1

Fixes and Improvements:

  • Added functionality to start fire automatically when adding wood to a campfire, smelter or oven.
  • Corrected a crash that occurred when removing wood from an active oven, campfire, or smelter.( thanks to player "pgames-food" for reporting.)
  • Fixed an issue where cloth sometimes doesn't display correctly when equipped.
  • Increased boat speed.
  • Increased drone speed .
  • Resolved a bug when moving inventory items and dying.
  • Adjusted down the amount of seeds obtained from harvesting.
  • Reduced the number of outlaw NPCs to enhance player experience.
  • Shortened night duration for a more balanced day-night cycle.
  • Addressed issues with unknown font names affecting readability.
  • Modified chest loot to spawn less quickly.
  • GUI Input fields marked with mouse set to different color.
  • Fixed an issue where lanterns were not turning on as expected.

The Demo Is Live!



Dear Community,

The time has come – our demo is live! For a year now, mago and crimi have been tirelessly working on this game, and we're eager to hear your feedback. For a long time, we could only test the game in small sessions, either together or with friends. But now, we believe it's ready to present you with a playable version. Currently, about 90% of our ideas have been implemented and integrated. There may still be the occasional bug lurking in the game. We hope you'll have sessions with as few bugs as possible, but please bear with us if that's not the case.

To help you get started, we've prepared plenty of additional content for you:
- A demo FAQ is available.
- There are guides in various languages.
- A wiki listing all available items among other things.

As for the future of the demo:
We see the demo as an ongoing public beta. After addressing initial bugs, we aim to gradually incorporate the remaining 10% and consider your feedback until we have a game that satisfies both you and us. Only then will we release the full version.

Limitations of the demo:
Currently, about 10% of the content is still missing. We also plan to offer different maps containing various biomes and differing in size. Later on, we hope to enable randomly generated maps.
Additionally, the game world is not yet persistently saved. This means that if the server goes down, the world disappears. We aim to change this in the coming months.
Furthermore, language support is currently limited to English. Although there isn't a lot of text in the game, we haven't had the opportunity yet to integrate support for multiple languages. Based on the demand we see in the demo, we currently plan to support the following languages: French, German, Spanish, Portuguese.
