F1® Manager 2024 News

Hey folks,

Thank you for bearing with us while we've been looking into the issues you have reported with F1 Manager 24.

We were hopeful to get a patch out this week, however some of the issues have required more time than first anticipated to work through.

Unfortunately, this means we won't be able to get an update out to you until early next week. This patch will resolve the following issues amongst others:

• Contract counter offers never being received
  
• AI developing the same car parts through the season
  
• Instances of incorrectly applied grid penalties when changing powertrain parts
  

Full patch notes will be released on the day of delivery. We will continue to work towards addressing your feedback regarding the mentality system as our highest priority, updating you when we can.

Thank you to everyone who has played and left feedback for F1® Manager 24 so far!


Please keep your feedback coming, as it helps to inform the areas of focus for us so that we can provide the best experience for you!


Below is a list of reported issues that we are currently investigating.


Under investigation:

• GPU-related crashes
  
• Mentality balance
  
• Game processing speed improvements
  
• Contract length specified in email can display one year longer than actuality
  
• Salaries for generated drivers are too high
  
• Instances where the amount of lapped cars is too high during races on certain circuits
  
• Not receiving a response to contract counter offers
  
• Sponsorship engagement payout values inconsistent between screens
  

The team are currently testing fixes to the following issues for the next hotfix:

• Updated Williams steering wheel to represent 2024 model
  
• A crash when randomising team branding elements
  
• UI error may occur when editing sponsor placement
  
• UI softlock may occur when selecting car part via rules and regulations screen
  
• Grid penalty incorrectly applied after changing powertrain parts
  
• Team comms may incorrectly reference traffic during qualifying
  

We are aiming to get a hotfix out this week on PC.
