It’s been a long time since our last dev log way back in February. We know—we’ve been heads-down pushing Wonderia forward, and game development always proves trickier than you’d think! At the start of 2025, we wanted to pop in, say hello 👋, and share some of the biggest strides we’ve taken over the past year. 🚀

[h2]Development Progress Recap[/h2]
This year has been packed with growth and new features. Here’s a quick rundown:

1. Trying Out an Extraction Survival Mode🏃‍♂️
   We’ve begun experimenting with an extraction survival mode, which blends high-stakes elements into our sandbox setting. We realize it’s an unconventional approach—merging extraction-style gameplay with building and crafting is a risk—but we hope it brings an interesting layer to Wonderia. We’re still refining this idea, so we welcome your thoughts once you get a chance to try it.
   
   
2. Skill System Implementation🛠️
   We’ve introduced a skill system aimed at giving your character’s progression more depth. It’s still a work in progress, but we’re hoping it helps every player find a unique playstyle, whether you’re more into combat, crafting, or exploration .
   
   
3. Expanding Biomes, POIs, and Cute Enemies🐾
   Our art and design teams have been busy adding new biomes, Points of Interest, and enemies to keep you on your toes. We’re also working on a completely new biome🌱 that’s still under development. We can’t wait to share more details once it’s further along.
   
   
4. Ongoing Art and UI Overhaul✨
   We’ve spent a lot of time fine-tuning Wonderia’s manga-inspired art style. Alongside that, we’re overhauling the UI to make it clearer and easier to use. 🖥️ It’s been a significant effort, and we’re still polishing things up, but we hope these improvements will make your experiences in Wonderia more enjoyable. 😊
   
   
5. Joystick and Steam Deck Support🕹️
   We’re happy to share that joystick and Steam Deck support is in the works—though not fully implemented yet, we’re aiming to include it in our upcoming beta demo.
   
   
6. Multiplayer Stability and Public Servers🤝
   Multiplayer stability has been a major focus this past year. We’ve come a long way, but there’s still more to do. We’re also preparing public server support, so eventually you’ll be able to hop in with others around the globe more easily. ✨
