Update 0.1.1e

Hey Everyone,

This update brings forward some of the bug fixes and minor QoL improvements included in the next content update 0.1.2. If you notice any bugs or have suggestions let me know on Discord.

  • Fixed AI breaking on the edge of the map
  • Fixed Geysers sometimes blocking hydroformers from expanding
  • Fixed units with low range not engaging if on patrol
  • Fixed sound breaking and a drop in frame rate if a very larger amount of status effect particles spawn in a short span of time (fire, hit etc)
  • Fixed "Construct" being visible when first opening the spaceship panel
  • Fixed ore and isotopes spawning on water ruins
  • Reduced the volume of rocketoid attacks
  • Orbitors will no longer stay overlapped on each other
  • The tribal placement warning will now only display on click
  • Fixed factories holding 11 instead of 10 resources

0.1.2 is currently available on the beta test branch. The patch notes are on Discord and I'll be posting them on Steam in a few days.

If you want to try 0.1.2 early I recommend backing up your "gameStats" folder in C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Stratagem Blue\From Glory To Goo so that you have the option to roll back your biomass, fleet support and Laboratory unlocks.

Update 0.1.1d

Hey Everyone,

This update makes some changes to pathfinding and how the game handles some screen resolutions so let me know on Discord or the Steam forums if you notice anything unusual.

I'm planning to release the next content update on to the beta branch by the end of next week.

  • Level up abilities are now weighted to show captain specific abilities more often
  • Reduced how often "Under attack" warnings trigger for units and slightly reduced it for colony buildings.
  • Improved pathing to garrison buildings
  • Reduced how strongly player units avoid the edges of unpathable areas
  • Fixed biomass not being earned on game loss (Based on cycle reached)
  • Fixed gatling and beam cannons not using ship energy
  • Fixed buttons for upgrades not disappearing when used
  • Fixed being able to upgrade powered off habs
  • Fixed no captain existing when loading a game if they were dropping in via a pod when saved
  • Fixed energy sometimes breaking when unequipping passive skills
  • Fixed clone-a-companion behavior
  • Fixed the selection square drifting if the game resolution isn't 1080p
  • Fixed selecting control groups not cancelling your current mouse operation
  • Fixed the GUI going outside the screen on ultrawide and some other aspect ratios
  • Fixed units starting to move again when given the stop command
  • Changed the tutorial video format to be compatible with Linux
  • Improved performance of large bases
  • GUI and text changes

Update 0.1.1c

Hey Everyone,

This update contains some more bug fixes reported by the community.

  • Fixed android upgrades not always running if effort would have run out with the selected group
  • Fixed Survivor achievement activation
  • Fixed delete file confirmation deleting files when cancelled
  • Fixed walls sometimes continuing to block when destroyed

Just a small update to fix some extra bugs that weren't included in the 0.1.1 release.

  • Fixed a circumstance where neutral aliens would only attack the landing pad
  • Fixed armour reduction not being applied correctly
  • Some fixes to GUI and tooltips

Just a small update to fix some extra bugs that weren't included in the 0.1.1 release.

  • Fixed unit avoidance not immediately running for units that have just been created or on load
  • Fixed life support not correctly applying its effect on upgraded Habs
  • Fixed captain energy sometimes being incorrect for respawned captains
  • Improved base connections on load
  • Reduced the cost and cooldown of some tier 3 skills
