Roots Devour 1.0.2.1 Update Patch Notes

[p][/p][p]The second post-launch update is now live. We’re continuing to polish the overall experience and have made further optimizations focused on the issues most actively discussed within the community.[/p][p][/p][p]In the latest v1.0.2.1 update, we’ve enhanced the functionality and feedback of the Altar of Absolution, making it easier for players to recover companions who were accidentally harmed. At the same time, we’re aware of an issue where certain hostile characters killed by the player may still appear in later story scenes, resulting in the odd situation of “deadman talking.” This issue is actively being addressed and will be gradually resolved in upcoming versions.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you so much for the lively discussions and feedback in the community. We carefully read and evaluate every suggestion you share. Additional improvements to interactions and overall usability are already in planning and will be rolled out step by step in future updates. [p][/p][h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]- [p]Fixed an issue where interacting with the Owl in the Altar would occasionally fail to trigger.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue where Ivy’s related story progress could be unintentionally reset after reviving her.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue where some characters who had already been killed would still speak during cutscenes, including:[/p]
- [p]the Strange Man in Deep in Forest,[/p]
- [p]Dog Compass, squad members, and the two sisters in Swamp Village,[/p]
- [p]the Messenger in Snowy Mountain Church.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue where NPCs killed in the Altar could still be interacted with and spoken to.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue where a hidden area in Snowy Mountain Church could not be revealed.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue in Chapter 4, City, where some Blood Reservoirs would unexpectedly turn into Corrupted Flesh Chunk.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue where dialogue triggered by cards in hand could be skipped by rapid clicking.[/p]
- [p]Improved the presentation of the Powder Cask Knight after revival, adding more narrative guidance in Chapter 1.[/p]
- [p]Improved the interaction feedback of the Altar of Absolution: when all NPCs are alive, the interact prompt will no longer appear.[/p]
- [p]Optimized a map setup in Snowy Mountain Church so that a staircase no longer becomes impassable due to being unable to connect to a campfire.[/p]
- [p]Optimized carriage placement in Snowy Mountain Church, providing more space for opening card packs.[/p]
- [p]Adjusted the water recovery of Bloodvein Stone – Trickle, reducing it from 5 water per spread to 1 water per spread.[/p]
- [p]Adjusted the number of cards generated by the Ecoball, reduced from 4 to 3.[/p]
- [p]Adjusted the amount of Inspiration gained after discarding cards: it is now a fixed 1 point each time.[/p]
- [p]Adjusted the Nature Pack by removing Cat from the pool.[/p]
