A small mining colony on the coast has recently reported a haul of Odians and polishing stones. Unfortunately it seems this surge in treasure isn’t unrelated to the increase in monster activity in the region. In desperation, the mine’s manager has now called upon brave Daevas to aid them in their endeavours.

Running: 17th February to 10th March


[h3]How It Works[/h3]
Join the PvP event with up to 6 other players, hunting monsters, collecting materials and earning points. While trying to earn points yourself, you can also attempt to stop your opponents from doing the same. In reward you can look forward to items such as the [Event] Coastal Odian Chest, [Event] Special Transformation Contract (62 types) and [Event] Ancient Polishing Stone (7 days).


[h3]Instance Entry[/h3]
In order to enter the [Event] Attack on the Coastal Mine, simply click on the Request Entry button in the bottom right.

• Instance can be entered once per day and is reset daily at 9 AM
• Opening times are from 11 AM to 3 PM and 7 PM to midnight
• All players level 80 and above can enter

[h3]The Start[/h3]
Once the instance starts, jump on the Mine Jet Ski waiting at the pier and let the battle commence.


[h3]The Battle[/h3]
Collect points either for killing monsters or collecting Drakan Opals. Stop your enemies from doing the same, and ward off their attacks. With any luck, you may even uncover an [Event] Coastal Odian Chest while collecting Drakan Opals.


[h3]Collecting Rewards[/h3]
The more points you earn, the better your rank, and the better your rewards too. Check the reward list for a full overview.







Note: The following items will be removed from the game at the end of the event: [Event] Coastal Odian Chest, [Event] Drakan Opal Shard, [Event] Drakan Diamond and [Event] Coastal Mine Treasure.

The dotty pirate couple Baron and Lady Baroka have arrived in Gelkmaros and Inggison, and are exchanging their wares for Rukibuki Coins. Not only that, but a strange Daevan Chocolate Citadel has been sighted! Monsters have been carrying large quantities of chocolate with them ever since, which can be exchanged for valuable items at the tower.

Get ready for an event that’s got some fantastic rewards in store, such as the Locked Selection Box of Hanbok Pixel Transformation Contracts, the [Rune] Vision Weapons Chest and the [Event] Selection Box with an Engraved Ultimate Manastone.



Event timeframe: 10/2 to 3/3


[h3]Have Yourself Some Chocolate[/h3]
There are three ways of obtaining chocolate:

• Hunt monsters in Gelkmaros and Inggison – they sometimes carry [Event] Ultimate Chocolate.
• Complete the Lugbug Missions that are part of the event.
• Stay logged in: For every hour you remain in the game, you’ll receive 5x [Event] Ultimate Chocolate (max. 20 per day).

[h3]Complete Lugbug Event Missions[/h3]
Complete the daily Lugbug Missions within the event and you won’t just get some much sought-after chocolate, but you’ll also receive Rukibuki Coins as a final reward! You’ll find the monsters you need to defeat in Gelkmaros or Inggison – the more the better:

• Defeat 300 monsters and get 5x [Event] Ultimate Chocolate.
• Defeat 500 monsters and get 10x [Event] Ultimate Chocolate.
• Defeat 700 monsters and get 15x [Event] Ultimate Chocolate.
• Defeat 1000 monsters and get 20x [Event] Ultimate Chocolate.

Smashed it in the event’s daily Lugbug Missions? Then you can look forward to your final reward:

• For levels 1 and 2, you’ll receive 5x [Event] Rukibuki Coins for each.
• For level 3, you’ll receive 10x [Event] Rukibuki Coins.

[h3]Exchange Your Rukibuki Coins[/h3]
To get hold of some Rukibuki Coins, you’ll first need to go and see Baron and Lady Baroka with 10x [Event] Ultimate Chocolate and 500,000 Kinah; they will give you some items in return. These items can be exchanged at the Chocolate Citadel for 10 to 50 Rukibuki Coins.

Baron Baroka and Lady Baroka have all kinds of spoils from their thieving sprees locked away that you can buy, but you’ll need a key first. You can get these in the AION Shop:

[h3]Pirate Special[/h3]
Gold Pack users can enjoy double entries to the following instances during the event (the number of weekly entries will increase from 4 to 8):

• Makarna of Bitterness (normal and hard)
• Stella Development Laboratory (easy and normal)
• Beninerk’s Manor (easy and normal)
• Ara Infernalia (easy and normal)

Our journey together began 9 long years ago, when the gates to Atreia first opened. So it’s time to celebrate this next great milestone with a big anniversary event!

Pick up fantastic loot such as the Daevanion Skill Chest (10 types), [Rune] Box of Class A, Level 2-4 Minion Contracts, and the [Rune] Special Transformation Contract: Cat (64 types).

[h3]How it works:[/h3]
Over the next three weeks, you can pick up special anniversary packs from the AION Shop which may contain fantastic treasure chests amongst others. Keys for the chests can be looted from the mobs in Gelkmaros and Inggison.

We’ve also put together some extra boosts for the weekends!


[h3]Special Weekends: Treasure Chests[/h3]
You can pick up the anniversary packs from the shop at the following times (always from 9 AM to 9 AM):

• 12th February (9 AM) to 15th February (9 AM) → Anniversary Battle Pack
• 19th February (9 AM) to 22nd February (9 AM) → Anniversary Wealth Pack
• 26th February (9 AM) to 1st March (9 AM) → Anniversary Power Pack

In addition to selected customisation items and consumables, the packs also contain treasure chests which you will need keys for. These will be dropped by monsters in Gelkmaros and Inggison at the weekends.

Tip: On the first weekend the treasure chests contain Daevanion skill items, on the second weekend minion items, and on the third weekend transformation items.


[h3]Special Weekends: Boosts[/h3]
Make the most of AION’s 9th free-to-play anniversary. Battle, collect and level up like crazy with some hefty birthday boosts!

• 12th February (9 AM) to 15th February (9 AM) → +250% XP and +50% AP
• 19th February (9 AM) to 22nd February (9 AM) → +250% XP and +25% loot
• 26th February (9 AM) to 1st March (9 AM) → +400% XP, +50% AP and +25% loot

The Red Nose Granker King is back! Once again this winter he’s got his sights on the Daevas, and persuaded the Sweet Snowman to aid his fiendish plans. Together with their minions, they’ve conquered various regions of Atreia. It’s now up to the Daevas to join forces and drive the assailants back!


[h3]The Hero Trials[/h3]
Complete Hero Trials and send the Granker King’s army packing. In reward there are a host of great items including: [Rune] Selection Box of Class A, Level 4 Minion Contracts, Locked Selection Box of Halloween Transformation Contracts and the Ultimate Silent Black Feather Armour Selection Box.

Complete the requisite quests to master the Hero Trials:

• Defeat winter creatures in the instances! Each week there are 14 such quests available. Certain enemies don’t need to be killed to complete the quest, but you might as well, as they’ll give you extra rewards.
• Defeat winter creatures in the open world! Each week there are 4 such quests available.

[h3]Rewards[/h3]
You will be rewarded for completing the quests once per account. The rewards can be found in the AION Shop under ‘Manage bonuses’.

During the event you’ll also find temporary items available which are required to complete some of the quest items. These are: [Event] Legendary Transformation Contract Reagent. [Event] Ancient Transformation Reagent and Key for Locked Selection Box of Halloween Transformation Contracts.

Additional rewards can also be earned for finishing a certain number of Hero Trials. These quests must be completed with the same character to rake in all the rewards.

The quest rewards are divided up as follows:

• 22 of 66 quests completed
• 44 of 66 quests completed
• 66 of 66 quests completed

You’ll need to complete 66 quests for the final reward (even though the theoretical maximum is 72).





Note: The following items will be removed from the game and the ‘Manage bonuses’ section at the end of the event: [Event] Legendary Transformation Contract Reagent, [Event] Ancient Transformation Reagent, Key for Locked Selection Box of Halloween Transformation Contracts, Locked Selection Box of Halloween Transformation Contracts.

[h3]New Content[/h3]
Update 7.8 brings tons of content, action and improvements – here’s the lowdown on all the most important features:

• Auto Hunting: Newly improved, you can now add health potions, automatically remove shock, adjust the camera and more!
• Chat with Friends: We’ve overhauled the interface, giving you improved customisable chat options.
• More Ancient Transformation Contracts: See the world through the eyes of Dr Murr and Sister Meow, or try out the new Hanbok Baa or Hanbok Moo – all with boosted stats! (The transformations are only available through events.)
• Awakened Minions: Make your hero even more powerful with even better minion stats! Awakened class S minions benefit from the stats of your second minion. Best of all – awakening your minion cannot fail!
• Jorgoth’s Weapons: Often seen as the most powerful weapons in all Atreia, now you can try out these masterpieces and butcher your enemies with them! The new weapons get two further levels for you to upgrade them to once acquired.
• Improved Skill Effects: Improved skill effects for all classes to maximise your gaming enjoyment.
