A mysteriously shimmering material has fallen on Atreia: Callistite, which is said to contain the concentrated power of the moon. Rumours are going around that whoever possesses enough Callistites will be able to transfer their unbound power onto their weapons.

In this event, brave Daevas will be rewarded with the following items amongst others:
[Rune] Selection Box of Danae Weapons, Selection Box of Artemis Weapons – Lunaris and Lunicorn – Premium Restoration Box (30 days).



[h3]Event Series [/h3]
‘The Power of the Sun’ was the first part of our major Cosmic Event series. This series continues with ‘The Power of the Moon’. Daevas who also join in the third part of this series in the coming months and use magical crafting to obtain their weapons, will receive the final reward – an additional skill!


[h3]The Weapons[/h3]
Use magical crafting to create two types of lunar weapon:

• Craft Danae weapons with lunar animations.
• Craft Artemis weapons with lunar animations and receive the Lunaris skill. The accompanying Lunar Energy special skill will give you a shield effect once your HP falls below 80%. Additionally, the skill grants up to 30,000 protection and boosts your resistance to shock states by 300.

[h3]Weaponcrafting [/h3]
Here’s how to create the materials for lunar weapons:

Combine 7 Legendary PvE Enchantment Stones using magical crafting and get a [Rune] Bundle of Callistites (3 pieces) – there’s even a small chance to get a bundle of 30 Callistites OR the [Rune] Sky Weapon Prototype.
Please note that only tradeable Legendary PvE Enchantment Stones can be used for crafting.

Then to craft the sky weapons:

• Combine 1x [Rune] Sky Weapon Prototype with 30x [Rune] Callistite to get 1x [Rune] Selection Box of Danae Weapons, or there’s a small chance of receiving the Selection Box of Artemis Weapons – Lunaris instead.
• Combine 3x [Rune] Sky Weapon Prototype with 85x [Rune] Callistite to get the Selection Box of Artemis Weapons – Lunaris.
• Use 1x [Rune] Selection Box of Danae Weapons in magical crafting to craft a [Rune] Sky Weapon Prototype.
• You can also craft a sun weapon from the first part of the event series: use the Selection Box of Artemis Weapons – Lunaris in magical crafting to obtain a Selection Box of Helios Weapons – Solaris

[h3]Receive Other Lunar Weapons[/h3]
You have a 100% chance of obtaining the Artemis weapons from 5 raid monsters: Crazed Anomos, Kadabra, Pupuru, Rachmaga and Yanohas.

Please note that raid monsters summoned using summoning scrolls do not drop the weapons.

You can choose between the four different bundles in the AION Shop. Various Enchantment Stones or Callistite: the bundles on offer contain everything you need for the event.


[h3]The Lunaris Quest[/h3]
Find Baldach in the Inggison Illusion Fortress or the Gelkmaros Fortress: he has a special task for you! Completing the quest requires that you use the ‘Lunaris’ skill. In reward you’ll get the fragments of two book formulae: Divine Protection and (Improved) Divine Protection.

Tip: In the last part of this event series, you’ll have a chance to collect more fragments, so keep them safe, you’ll need them later!


[h3]Enchantment Stone Merchants[/h3]
In the Inggison Illusion Fortress or the Gelkmaros Fortress you’ll also encounter two Shugos trading PvE and PvP Enchantment Stones: Pibirinerk has PvE Enchantment Stones to offer you and Bipirinerk trades in PvP Enchantment Stones.

Please note that only tradeable Legendary PvE and PvP Enchantment Stones can be used in this event.

Tip: You can also get the [Rune] Box with Secret Transformation Potion from Bipirinerk, which you’ll need for Pandarung’s Infiltration.


[h3]The Moon Unicorn[/h3]
Unicorns are a fairly common occurrence in Atreia, but a unicorn which came from the moon? That sounds like something out of a fairy tale. But no, the story is true!

Magical crafting makes it possible. Combine a [Rune] Sky Unicorn Prototype with 1x [Rune] Callistite and get a Lunicorn – Premium Restoration Box (30 days).

The required [Rune] Sky Unicorn Prototype can be obtained from Pibirinerk.

Shiver me timbers! Cap’n Grogget, Commander of the Shulack Pirates, is back. The captain of perhaps the most notorious ship in all of Atreia, the Steel Rake, seeks his revenge upon the Daevas! He has locked away some Shugos in the Steel Rake Fortress and it is now your job to free them. But be warned: you’ll need all the courage you can muster to survive this adventure.

It will be worth the effort for more than just the Shugos: scoop up some amazing items during the event, including the Selection Box of Helios Weapons – Solaris, the [Event] Balaurea Odian Chest and the Restoration Stone.



[h3]How it works:[/h3]
Players from level 76 on can enter the Steel Rake Fortress solo instance once per character each day. Entry will be reset every day at 9 AM.

You can grant yourself additional entries with the following:

• Log in daily and remain active for 2 hours to receive 1 [Event] Entry Coin for the Steel Rake Fortress.
• Exchange the [Event] Freeze Frame with Katoshunerk for Entry Coins.
• Get your Entry Coins from the AION Shop from 3/7 to 5/8.

[h3]Storm the Steel Rake Fortress[/h3]
When storming the fortress you gather keys with which you can free the Shugos. The more successful you are in your campaign against the pirates, the more keys you collect and the richer you will be rewarded.


[h3]Part 1: The Route into the Fortress[/h3]
Speak with Blubberinerk and find out what you need to do. Fight your way to the fortress on a Jet Ski (how cool is that?!). Use the Jet Ski’s weapons: the Drana Bomb and the Long-range Drana Bomb.


[h3]Part 2: Battle in the Fortress[/h3]
Once in the Steel Rake Fortress you will receive the Pipeline Blast Bomb from Blubberinerk to sabotage the fortress pipeline. Destroy 3 Pipeline Controllers with it!

Additionally you will receive the Mounter for Enhanced Rascal: get into the mech and really dish it out to Cap’n Grogget’s minions! Use the entire weapons arsenal of the mech: Fire Cannon, Fire Throw, Install Bomb and Paralysis.

Take out Grogget’s mangy henchmen: Doctor Arcetto, Madame Chichiriko and Captain Muata. Defeat them, grab their Slave Keys and free 10 Shugos!

Finally, give the returned Grogget a scrap he won’t forget.


[h3]Part 3: Time for Rewards[/h3]
Once you’ve defeated Grogget, you will receive one key plus one more key for each Shugo you managed to save (up to a max of 10). With this, you will teleport with Blubberinerk to a treasure island, where you can then collect the item ‘[Event] Freeze Frame’ from the Steel Rake chests.

Finally, exchange the Freeze Frames with Katoshunerk for valuable items and enjoy your moment of glory.

The Daevas are returning to Balaurea, in particular to Inggison and Gelkmaros. The little blue Drakie Krorinerk has also made his way there, with a whole host of precious cargo in tow. These items will be exceedingly useful to Daevas on their forays through the dragon lands.

Krorinerk is offering up his wares in exchange for Finest Balaurea Coins. Look forward to the following items:

• [Rune] Box of Class A, Level 2-4 Minion Contracts
• [Rune] Dark Dragon King's Mysterious Weapons Selection Box
• [Rune] Mega Transformation Contract (9 types)

[h3]How it works:[/h3]

The Coins


The event currency [Rune] Finest Balaurea Coins can be acquired in numerous ways:

• You can find a special bundle containing Finest Balaurea Coins available in the AION Shop during the event, plus a number of other bundles which also contain coins.
  
• Krorinerk has a weekly quest for you, in which you will be rewarded for bringing him 200 Genesis Crystals.

Transformation Contracts


You automatically receive 3 new magical crafting recipes, available between 10th June and 8th July.

You can use these to craft the [Rune] Bundle of Special Transformation Contracts (50 pieces), [Rune] Super Transformation Contracts (19 types) and [Rune] Mega Transformation Contracts (9 types). As basic materials, you need [Rune] Special Transformation Contract (62 types) and [Rune] Finest Transformation Contract amongst others.

[h3]Spread your wings and fly, young dragon![/h3]

The Daevas want to raise little Stormwings, but it’s proving more difficult than imagined! They seek help from Judra, who has a lot of experience bringing up little dragons. The Daevas realise that a special item is required to advance Stormwings to their next level of development.

The dragons must be released from their Summoning Orbs every day so they can train and strengthen their wings. In return, the Stormwings will show their gratitude and reward you consummately!

The following items may be found among the rewards:

• [Event] Selection Box of Class A, Level 2 Minion Contracts
• [Event] Selection Box of Legendary Daeva Transformation Contracts
• [Event] Selection Box of Daevanion Skills (10 types)

[h3]How it works:[/h3]

You earn medals by completing Lugbug missions, and later by logging in daily. A week after the event starts, you’ll also be able to acquire them in the AION Shop. The medals should be handed to Judra for the Stormwings’ improvement. Depending on the level of your dragons, you’ll receive rewards for your efforts.

Getting Stormwings


The Stormwing (Level 1) can be obtained from an in-game survey between 10th June and 8th July – once per server.

How to Raise Your Dragon


There are three simple steps to follow when rearing Stormwings.

• Step 1: Summon the Stormwing from your inventory.
  
• Step 2: Complete the quest and talk to the Stormwing to receive your daily reward.
  
• Step 3: Find Judra in the fortresses of Gelkmaros or Inggison and give her the [Event] Stormwing’s Development Medal to advance Stormwings to the next level.

Development Medals


There are three ways to get your hands on the medals:

• Complete Lugbug missions between 10th June and 29th July.
  
• Log in daily from 17th June to 1st July.
  
• Visit the AION Shop between 17th June and 29th July to get a free daily medal per account.

Please note: All event items will be removed from the game after the event is over.

The new update brings a huge haul of hard-hitting action and exciting contents to the table. Get straight into the thick of the fight – or read up on all the juicy details first in our news post:

• You can now add brand-new Odians to your hero’s accessories, and craft runes into your bracelets and feathers.
  
• Unlock new Paralysing, Silencing or Heavenly Vision weapons! These can be acquired in multiple ways, for example by defeating bosses in Lakrum or Dumaha, or eliminating agents of the enemy faction. By enchanting the weapons, you can upgrade them even further, with three levels of improvement available.
  
• Look out for 6 new legendary apostle transformations and transformation collections – Ariel’s Apostle, Azphel’s Apostle, Yustiel’s Apostle, Triniel’s Apostle, Vaizel’s Apostle and Lumiel’s Apostle – each transformation granting you different stats.
  
• Prepare yourself and your team of up to five other players for an epic challenge in the new Ara Infernalia instance – show the strength of your Daeva!
  
• Loot monster cubelets in Kubrinerk’s Monster Cube Laboratory to aid you in defeating bosses in the following instances: Prometun’s Workshop (difficult), Stella Development Laboratory (normal), Makarna of Bitterness (normal), Beninerk’s Manor (difficult) and Ara Infernalia (normal).

• More powerful enemies and better loot can now be found on the battlefields of Inggison and Gelkmaros – promising many more engaging battles.
  
• No way back – Daeva down and stand your ground in the added Dredgion Invasion.
  
• Ultimate gear can be earned for vanquishing world bosses lurking in every region.
  
• The world bosses in Silentera Canyon have your number – defeat them for a chance to pick up the most powerful equipment your hero has ever worn!
  
• In Lakrum you’ll find stronger monsters, quests and high-quality loot for victory over Raging Anomos.
  
• Play for new rewards in Dumaha’s thrilling Altar Siege Battles.
  
• In the Raging Valley PvP battlefield, it’s no longer the best gear but the best skills which decide your fate.
  
• Your hero can now earn level-80 items.
  
• Two new instance merchants supply you with important goods such as legendary and ultimate PvE enchantment stones, Kinah plus ultimate gear.
