VOID/BREAKER 🟥 Patch - Improvements, Early-progression refresh and bugfixes

[p]Hey everyone, Daniel here.[/p][p][/p][p]Firstly, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the support during week 1. The positive reception has been overwhelming. From watching playthroughs, streams, reading reviews; it's been fantastic to see. (Joe has also been watching all week!).[/p][p] With the help of my publisher, Playstack, we’ve compiled a list of bug reports, community suggestions and feedback points to pave the way for the road ahead. And we can’t wait to continue developing and releasing new updates for VOID/BREAKER.[/p][p] And just like that, I have a first update to hopefully fix some of those initial pain points and bugs. If you have an outstanding bug or suggestion that isn’t in the list, don’t be alarmed, it's most likely on my radar and in production.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p] 🟥 BUG FIXES[/p]
  • [p]Fix for ADS issues when holding sprint and firing at the same time[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some bugs relating to weapon attachments UI[/p]
  • [p]Fix for stutter when using chrono hold ability during a boss bullet hell attack (unconfirmed whether this will fix the crash)[/p]
  • [p]Fix for losing your researched schematic if you were to swap weapons at the start of a run[/p]
  • [p]Various other UI fixes[/p]
  • [p]Fix for ignit launcher module not throwing correctly[/p]
  • [p]Transitioning to the next zone will now remember your selected optic and fire mode[/p]
  • [p]“Max iteration reached” on the stats screen in the bunker should now correct display[/p]
  • [p]Fixed bug where infini-ammo and predator modules wouldn’t work in tandem[/p]
  • [p]Fixed bug on stats screen that showed incorrect number of total schematics. Also fixed a bug with the schematic that caused this (if you researched Quickdraw, you may need to find this schematic, and research it again for it to enter the loot pool correctly)[/p]
  • [p]In the rare occasion where a boss will die slightly outside the arena, its loot will no longer spawn outside.[/p]
[p][/p][p]🟥 IMPROVEMENTS[/p]
  • [p]Improved visibility when tethering an object[/p]
  • [p]Improved pistol firing animation so it doesn’t get so close to the camera[/p]
  • [p]New tutorial popup after first death showcasing the hacks / permanent upgrades terminal.[/p]
  • [p]Projectile visibility behind walls reduced. Also added a distance fade to reduce clutter further.[/p]
  • [p]Tweaked UI for purchasing weapons so that its easier to see the price[/p]
  • [p]Voidium and credits received some new FX and better collection detection[/p]
  • [p]Voidium and credits have a slightly increased collection radius
    [/p]
[p]🟥 BALANCING[/p]
  • [p]3 hack upgrades are unlocked by default, allowing instant tier purchases via voidium. (This will help with some early game difficulty)[/p]
  • [p]The assault rifle now costs voidium instead of decryptors (This will help with some early game difficulty)[/p][p][/p]
[p]🟥 OTHER[/p]
  • [p]Corner resonator now epic rarity (sorry, it's just too good)[/p]
  • [p]Marksman base reload speed increased. But damage reduced slightly[/p]
  • [p]Slightly increased difficulty from zone 02 to zone 03[/p]
  • [p]Health has an increased collection radius[/p]

VOID/BREAKER Early Access roadmap revealed

[p]Hey everyone,[/p][p]Daniel here.[/p][p]We are getting closer to the Early Access launch of VOID/BREAKER (Aug 19th), and I want to give you a look at what will be included on day one, as well as where the game is heading afterwards.[/p][p][/p][p]Today I am sharing the Early Access Roadmap.[/p][p][/p][h3]Here is what you will find in VOID/BREAKER at launch:[/h3]

  • [p]4 weapons available[/p]
  • [p]Extra hard difficulty modes[/p]
  • [p]Endless Run Mode[/p]
  • [p]Weapon skin terminal[/p]
  • [p]And countless improvements that came thanks to the awesome community

[p]You may notice some elements on the roadmap are blacked out. These are things I am not ready to reveal just yet, but I wanted you to see their place on the timeline. Surprises are part of the fun, and I cannot wait to pull back the curtain when the time comes.[/p][p]The Community Voice Updates are especially important to me. Many of the elements already in the game exist because of playtesters and community input, and I want to keep that same process alive throughout Early Access. These updates will focus entirely on features and tweaks requested directly by you. Your feedback will continue to guide the direction of VOID/BREAKER as it grows.
[/p][p]This roadmap is not everything. There is much more planned beyond what you see here. The roadmap will also be updated and expanded with more detail, so the community always knows what to expect as we move forward.

Mini FAQ[/h3][p]What are Community Voice Updates?[/p][p]These are updates focused entirely on player requests. They will include features, tweaks, and improvements suggested directly by the community. Many elements already in VOID/BREAKER exist because of playtester feedback, and this will continue to guide development.[/p][p][/p][p]Why are some elements on the roadmap blacked out?[/p][p]Some features are intentionally hidden for now. I want to give you a clear picture of the timeline without spoiling everything. These will be revealed closer to release, so you can look forward to some surprises along the way.[/p][p][/p][p]How long will VOID/BREAKER stay in Early Access?[/p][p]Right now, the plan is to release version 1.0 in 2026. However, this may change depending on feedback, development needs, and the scope of new ideas that come out of Early Access.[/p][p][/p][p]This roadmap is a living thing, and it will evolve as the game does.
