Tinkerlands: January devlog
Heya, Tinkerlanders!
We’re back with another short development update as Tinkerlands moves closer to becoming the adventure you’ve been waiting for!

So far the singleplayer version is nearly ready, packed with new features, reworked biomes, and fun updates. Our next focus is testing all this content and diving into the multiplayer mode’s optimization.

While it’s taken a bit longer than we originally planned (turns out making an awesome game is quite the adventure!), we’re thrilled to announce that Tinkerlands is now planned for Early Access release in Q2 2025 - and we’re working hard to make sure it’s polished to perfection.

Here’s a glimpse of what we were working on last month:
 • Pirate Items: Counterfeit coins, pirate guns, coin guns, cutlasses, and more themed gear.

 • Biomes and Locations: We've made some final touches to the islands you will travel to in the Early Access version of the game. Ghostlands, Jungles, Coraline Fields are almost ready to be explored, as well as all the new locations like Ghostlands Town, Turtle Island, Monsoon Jungles, Tribe Ruins, Merman Dungeon and more.

 • Systems and Events: Vanity system to give you more variety in your outlook, Pirate Invasion Event, reworked Cooking System, NPC Quests, and Ship Navigation improvements.

 • New NPCs: Meet the Chef, Cartographer, Carpenter, and more, each with unique quests and rewards.

Thank you for your patience and incredible support - we couldn’t do this without you! Stay tuned for more updates as we craft the world of Tinkerlands! 🚀

Building Tinkerlands: November Devlog
Heya, Tinkerlanders!
It’s time for our monthly development update! November has flown by, and as always, we’re here to share the latest progress on Tinkerlands. This month, our focus was on creating, implementing, and testing exciting new content for both single-player and multiplayer experiences. Here's a look at what we’ve been working on:
Enriching islands and biomes
We keep working on the new islands and test them extensively. While the initial designs are promising, we realized they could use additional refinement and more content variety. We’re also exploring the idea of dividing these islands into distinct yet thematically connected biomes, creating immersive environments for you to explore.
New NPCs and the new quest system
Two new characters are joining Tinkerlands: the Carpenter and the Fisherman! And we’ve also added a quest system for NPCs, where they’ll ask you to do various tasks. By helping them, you can earn special rewards or unlock new features. For example, the Fisherman will give you tools to make fishing easier, as well as a special armor set that boosts your fishing skills.
New in-game money
We’ve been revisiting the in-game economy to ensure a balanced experience. To achieve this, we’re introducing new coins that will improve progression and resource management. This system is still a work in progress, and we’re experimenting to find the perfect balance.
Ship and navigation update
We’ve made good progress on the ship and navigation features! You can now find shipwreck ruins on the beach to repair and prepare for upcoming sea journeys! Additionally, we keep improving the navigation system to make exploring the world smoother and more enjoyable.
Cooking system update
The cooking system has been further improved to make it easier and more fun! Our goal is to make cooking a more rewarding and helpful part of your adventure.
Minor additions and improvements
- Smooth Water Transitions: Terrain now determines whether transitions between water types are smooth or abrupt (like cliffs), giving your builds a more natural and visually appealing look.

- Enemy-Spawning Statues: These statues can now summon enemies when activated, adding a layer of challenge and fun to quests.

As you can see, November was packed with new developments, and we’re thrilled to keep building and refining the world of Tinkerlands. Stay tuned for more updates as we bring these features to life, and don’t forget to share your feedback - it helps us shape the game into something truly special.

These milestones mean the world to us, and it’s all thanks to you - our amazing community. With your support, we’re inspired to turn Tinkerlands into the gem we know it can be!

Since we’ve received many questions, now’s the perfect time to share some updates about the game’s future:
1. When will Tinkerlands be released?
We’re working hard to bring you the Early Access version in early 2025! Our goal is to make sure it’s polished, tested, and packed with adventures for you to dive into in Q1 2025 (anytime before April 2025!)
2. What’s the price going to be?
We’re still figuring this out and want to find the right balance. We’ll keep you updated as we get closer to release!
3. How will Early Access be different from the demo?
The Early Access version will bring tons of new mechanics, content, and exciting features compared to the demo! Once again, here’s a sneak peek of what’s coming:
New Biomes and Islands
In Early Access, you’ll venture to brand-new islands within the magical archipelago, each filled with unique challenges and secrets! Get ready to explore deeper than ever before.
Ship Navigation and Mapmaking Mechanics
Your very own ship awaits! With it, you’ll sail across new islands and discover uncharted lands, all while unlocking mapmaking mechanics to expand your world.
Side Activities Galore!
Beyond your main quests, Early Access will be packed with engaging side activities that bring extra depth and fun to your adventure. Here are just a few highlights:

Fishing: Cast a line and see what bites! Each catch may reveal a useful ingredient or hidden treasure.

Farming: Grow crops, tend to your garden, and harvest valuable resources to help you on your journey.

Cooking: Use ingredients you’ve gathered to cook up meals with buffs to give you an edge on the tougher adventures!

And that’s not all - we have even more ideas at hand that we are going to share with you later!
Plenty of the New Enemies
Expect to encounter challenging new foes! These enemies and bosses will test your skills and bring fresh chills to every corner of Tinkerlands.
A Huge Variety of New Armor and Weapons
Suit up with all-new armor and weapon types! Each item is designed to give you unique bonuses and strategies to tackle what lies ahead.

And this is just the beginning! We’re constantly brainstorming ideas and enhancing Tinkerlands to make it everything we all dream it can be.
