Fromsoftware is changing Elden Ring Nightreign's difficulty after beta feedback

Every Fromsoftware game requires practice. Yes, they're challenging, but with a deep understanding of the mechanics and bosses, you can exploit the systems to become victorious. This is true of Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Armored Core - that's why you can beat the Asylum Demon and Tree Sentinel the first time you meet them. I'm certain this design philosophy will be part of Elden Ring Nightreign as well, but that doesn't mean changes aren't coming. After the game's recent network test, Fromsoftware has heard your concerns with the overall difficulty, and is making some key adjustments to balance the experience.

Elden Ring Nightreign Prepares You For Death With a New Overview Trailer

With just under a month until the release of Elden Ring Nightreign, Bandai Namco has released a lengthy new overview trailer to teach players the ins and outs of the new experience.

Unlike most of FromSoftware’s games that focus on single-player experiences, Elden Ring Nightreign is a multiplayer-focused title — described as a “co-op survival experience.” Nightreign is a completely standalone experience separate from Elden Ring itself, and players don’t have to be familiar with that game to jump in, although it will undoubtedly help.

Three players have to band together to survive three days, as a ring of deadly fire slowly shrinks and consumes the entire map.

The Elden Ring Nightreign system requirements are too good to be true

What are the Elden Ring Nightreign system requirements? In a surprising twist, the Elden Ring Nightreign system requirements almost mirror those of the original souls-like game. There are changes to the CPU requirements, but almost everything else is identical.

The original Elden Ring system requirements were arguably low even for 2022, but the decision to apply a 60fps frame cap perhaps explained the decision. Now, with Elden Ring Nightreign on the horizon, you still won't need the best graphics card to enjoy this soulslike, but an upgrade to your CPU may be required.
