The following improvements for solo expeditions will be added to the game:
- The effect "Automatic Revival Upon Defeat", which allows revival once per night boss battle, will be added to solo expeditions.
- The amount of runes gained will be increased.[/h3]

Elden Ring Nightreign may suffer from "frame rate drops" on new graphics cards

Elden Ring Nightreign is finally out, but owners of the latest GPUs might be running into frame rate issues, and the suggested fix isn't ideal. Bandai Namco posted the patch notes for version 1.01 of Nightreign and claims these frame rate issues are only impacting those using the "latest graphics cards", but fails to specify exactly which ones.

If you've splashed the cash on one of the best graphics cards that money can buy, perhaps an RTX 5090, you may assume you're immune to such frame rate issues, rather than the only one impacted by them. However, in Elden Ring Nightreign, anyone sporting one of the latest graphics cards could be encountering the issue, and there's no solid fix for it, yet.

Rather than a sweeping, fantasy epic, the three-player co-op game is a frantic dash for gear, leading into a challenging boss rush where you're being herded by a Fortnite-style circle of flame. It strips away the gradual, player-driven character progression of base Elden Ring in favor of fixed classes, placing the focus on quick, roguelike-style runs. Instead of its dramatic change in focus, however, so far, it's Nightreign's missing features that are actually proving the real killer reviews wise, dooming it to an initial rating of 'mixed.'
