Dragon Eclipse 1.0 is here! 🐉

Tamers, the wait is over! Dragon Eclipse has officially launched out of Early Access today, and we couldn’t be more excited to share the full 1.0 experience with you.

But first: a huge thank you to everyone who supported us during the Early Access period. Tons of your feedback and reports helped us polish the game and make it an even better experience. You rock! ❤

Watch the 1.0 release trailer, prepared especially for this occasion:

And here’s the list of final improvements that went live with the 1.0 patch:
7 languages available
Dragon Eclipse is playable in English, German, French, Polish, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified & Traditional). This will allow more Tamers around the globe to join the adventure!
Controller support & Steam Deck playability
We’ve implemented full controller support, making the game a smooth experience for players on PC or Steam Deck. While we’re awaiting the official “Steam Deck Verified” status, the game is fully playable, so you can dive in with confidence.
Game balance
We’ve rebalanced the game to ensure more diverse and exciting builds are viable. Experiment, strategize, and find the playstyle that suits you best!
General polish
Apart from squashing those last pesky bugs, we’ve polished the UX/UI part to smoothen the gameplay. Most of these improvements were focused on Steam Deck compatibility and localization. For example, we’ve increased the size of cards and their descriptions (same for Blessings) to ensure better readability. Font sizes on all tooltips have also been adjusted, and their positioning has been refined to make the UI more user-friendly.

Additionally, to celebrate the big day, Dragon Eclipse is now 30% off for a limited time. If you haven’t joined the adventure yet, now is the perfect time to tame your first Mystling!

Once again, thank you for being a part of this journey. We hope this 1.0 version will bring you tons of fun and joy! Have fun playing and creating amazing combos!

Patch 5 - Content Wrap-up! 🐉🌒

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Hello, Tamers!
We’re thrilled (and a bit emotional) to bring you the last major content update before Dragon Eclipse is fully ready to leave Early Access in December this year. That doesn’t mean the game is finished yet—but more about it later.

We couldn’t have done all of this without your constant feedback and genuine support along the way. Huge THANK YOU to each and every one of you for being a part of the Dragon Eclipse story.
You all rock! ❤️

Now, without further ado, take a look at the content wrap-up for the game.
New Maps With Diverse Biomes
Each act of the game now features its own distinct biome: Forest, Desert, Snowland, Jungle, and a brand-new Shadow Realm map. Expect not only a stunning visual overhaul but also more strategic depth. The risk-reward ratio will be higher, with tougher enemies, but also richer rewards, and more decision-making opportunities to enhance the experience.
New Acts System
Difficulty levels are being replaced by the system of acts, which makes the game more challenging and enhances it with extra story pieces. The fifth, final act, set entirely in the Shadow Realms, will provide the greatest challenge, even for the most experienced Tamers. It also features a unique economy system that will test your deck-building skills.
Formidable New Enemies
Prepare to encounter two new elite foes on your way. Those include:
 • Knight: An elite enemy with a defensive approach, focusing on dodging and shielding itself.
 • Spider: This creepy elite enemy applies weakness and stun effects. Beware: it weakens the last Mystling that attacks it at the start of its turn.

To spice things up even more, there’s a new boss willing to give you a beating:
 • Uttur: The new acid-inflicting boss. Attack it, and Uttur will retaliate by poisoning your Mystlings with corrosive acid.
What’s Next?
Even though the content part of Dragon Eclipse is being wrapped up, over the next few weeks we’ll still be working on the game. However, our focus will shift to fine-tuning and technical updates such as the Switch port, localization, gamepad & Steam Deck controls refinement, various UX improvements, and bug fixes. As mentioned, we’re planning for the 1.0 release to go live somewhere in December this year.

Also, our dev team has another project on the horizon, so stay tuned for more info about that! Who knows, maybe the story of our Mystlings isn’t finished yet…
That’s it for now!
Feel free to hop in the game, try the new stuff out, and let us know what you think. And as always, we still invite you to join our Discord server to have a chat, ask questions, or just hang around. Everyone is welcome.

Until next time, Tamers!

Patch - Tech Update #1

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2626860/Dragon_Eclipse/
Welcome, Tamers!
We know you've gotten used to our bi-weekly updates, where we delivered cool new content for the game—whether it was new maps, new Mystlings, or new Tamers. We've always made sure to pleasantly surprise you during each update cycle. However, this time we had to pause the release of new content to improve what already exists. We’ve seen your comments and feedback (especially the critical ones), and we knew we had no choice but to sit down and focus on serious improvements to the game, both in terms of difficulty balance and the user interface. So today, we present a list of changes and fixes that we hope will significantly enhance your experience with Dragon Eclipse and make it even more enjoyable.
Enemy Rebalancing
In this area, we've been working hard and it was our top priority. To fully experience the changes, we recommend starting from Eclipse 0, where the differences should be much more noticeable to you.
UX Improvements
Work is still ongoing here, but we’ve already made many small and large changes, and there are still plenty more on the horizon. So rest assured—we haven’t said our final word yet, and many more changes are on the way.
Combat Phases
We’ve decided to add a clear distinction between different phases of combat. This should clarify and organize the division of combat into its various stages. Let us know in the comments if you like this change!
Action Separation
We’ve increased the gaps between actions performed by different creatures so that it’s clear who is currently acting and which effect is associated with each action. Actions are now arranged in a queue of sequential events, preventing them from blending together.
Target Selection Arrow
We redesigned the look of the arrow that indicates which creature to assign a played card or consumable to. We think it looks much better now, but more importantly, it’s clearer.
Mystling Positioning Change
Moving Mystlings could be somewhat unintuitive, so we’ve revamped the entire system. It is now much more convenient, simpler to use, and definitely faster!
Next Steps:
As we mentioned, we’re not done yet. We’re currently planning to create a new tutorial that will introduce new players to the game’s mechanics even better. We’ll also continue improving the UX with further changes and work on rebalancing the gameplay.
Best regards, and we look forward to more of your valuable feedback on what we can improve or enhance in the game!

As always, thanks for being with us during the Early Access! We encourage you to join our Discord server to hang around, ask questions, and give some feedback on the game.

Until the next update! ❤
