Patch 4 - Fire and Earth! 🐉🌒
Hello, Tamers!
As usual, here we are, bringing you a pack of fresh additions to the game! 2 unique Mystlings will be waiting for you to tame them. We’re also introducing special Mystlings-related quests. By fulfilling those, you’ll be rewarded with an item of a new type - one of the powerful Mystling gifts. We’re also changing the layout of the Village (the main hub) to make it smoother to navigate and a better-looking one. Lastly, you can expect Tara, a new friendly NPC, to be your helping hand throughout the journey.
Watch the trailer to see what's new!
[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
2 new Mystlings
Meet Gaiadon and Lear, new creatures that will aid you in your quest! Gaiadon, fueled by the powers of earth and nature, is a unique Mystling, only able to evolve during- and for the remainder of a particular battle. Lear, one born of fire, can turn his wounds into power, gaining strength equal to health lost when hurt.
Mystling Quests and Gifts
From now on, you’ll start noticing Mystlings asking for your help while in the village. When talked to, they’ll express their needs and give you special Mystling-related Quests. Your aid won’t go unnoticed - Mystlings will reward you with their Gifts, acting as a new type of permanent upgrade to help you on the way!
Redesigned Village
We changed the layout of the main hub, making it easier to explore and move around. The buildings are now further separated, finally giving their inhabitants some space to breathe!
Tara, a helping hand
Say hello to Lyanne, your brand-new, personal guide, aiding you on your adventure! Lyanne will be providing her helping hand during the most crucial moments in the game. She’s not that much of an annoying backseater, we promise!
Miscellaneous
Underneath the biggest changes, there are dozens of smaller ones, aimed at ironing out the game and improving the overall UX. Those include a few new story events, minor enemy balance changes, User Interface popups overhaul, improved saves during battles, and multiple bug fixes.
That’s it!
Let us know which of those changes is your favorite! Try out the updated version of the game, while we’re working hard on the next content update, about to drop within the next 2 weeks.

As always, thanks for being with us during the Early Access! We encourage you to join our Discord server to hang around, ask questions, and give some feedback on the game.

Patch 3 - New Foes! 🐉🌒

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2626860/Dragon_Eclipse/
Hello, Tamers!
Another content update just went live! We delivered this one faster than usual, but it’s also smaller than the previous ones. The main highlight is that we added 5 new enemies for you to fight, as well as a new debuff effect. We also changed how the camera behaves during battles and implemented new card visuals to the upgraded Mystling cards. You can also now skip dialogues if you’re a fast reader!
Watch our official trailer for this update:
[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
And here are the details:

5 new enemies
Give a warm welcome to Darkeye, Blue Darkeye, Centervil, Siren, and Dogring. Not like they’re going to love you or anything, since your job will be to beat them down…
New debuff: Acid
Along with new foes, we’re also including a new debuff mechanic: Acid! It reduces power by 1 for every Acid counter, and at the stand of the round also deals 1 damage for every counter.
Reactive camera movement
To spice the battles up a little, and make them feel more dynamic, we added a reactive camera movement! The screen will now behave adaptively to the actions you perform. Try it out for yourselves!
Dialogue fast-forward option
This one is plain and simple - if you’re a fast reader, you’ll always be able to skip the dialogue and get back to the juicy gameplay!
New card visuals for upgraded Mystling cards
We felt like the upgraded Mystling cards deserved to stand out from the crowd, so we shined them up a bit!

That’s a wrap!

That’s not a lot of changes, but we hope those will make the game feel more polished and enjoyable!
As always, thanks for being with us during the Early Access! We encourage you to join our Discord server to hang around, ask questions, and give some feedback on the game.
Good luck and have fun playing! ❤

Patch 2 - Dragons' Arrival! 🐉🌒

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2626860/Dragon_Eclipse/
Hello, Tamers!
We’re flying into August with another freshly baked content update. It's about time for some actual dragons to join our pack of Mystlings. What's more, we’re adding a Leaderboard, letting the most competitive of you flex your scores among the other Tamers worldwide. We’re also introducing new Enchant Arena mechanics and an overall game Compendium.
As always, thank you for participating in the Early Access process! Many of the changes were inspired by your comments and feedback, so we’d love for you to keep them coming.

Watch our official trailer update for a visual overview of what’s been added to the game:

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
And here are the update details:

Two new Mystlings: Luminesca and Emberling
Introducing to you: Luminesca and Emberling! These two beauties are fully-fledged dragons (kinda funny how we didn't have those yet). You can unlock them as you climb through the experience levels. Luminesca’s perks make her elusive, allowing her to dodge attacks after getting hurt too much. On the other hand, Emberling can break some rules and freely choose the opponent he wants to attack!
Enchant Arena Mechanic
This mechanic includes 8 new enchantment cards that allow casting powerful effects on a particular slot in combat. For example, you can enchant your middle combat position with one of the cards, so it will keep adding 2 shields to any Mystling in this slot at the start of each round, until the end of battle.
Leaderboards
After achieving victory on any difficulty level, you will face the Eclipse Crystal, a defenseless opponent designed for one purpose: to test your damage-dealing skills. You’ll have several rounds to inflict as much damage as possible. A global leaderboard will then upload your score, enabling you to compare your results with other players. Each difficulty level boasts its own separate leaderboard, to ensure the whole thing is fair. Go and give that Eclipse Crystal a good beating!
Compendium
Knowledge is power, and the new Compendium feature is here to arm you with all the information you need. Accessible from the pause screen, the Compendium lists all cards, blessings, and statuses, along with reminders of basic game mechanics. This should come in handy as a go-to guide for both veterans and newcomers!
That’s a wrap!
We hope those new changes will make the game an even more fun experience for all of you! Future content updates are in the works, with a new update planned for around 2 weeks from today.
Thanks for being with us during the production process. All comments, questions, and feedback are always welcome! The easiest way to get in touch with us is by joining our Discord server.
Good luck and have fun playing! ❤

Dragon Eclipse: Patch 1 - Shadow Realm!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2626860/Dragon_Eclipse/
Hello, Tamers!
Dragon Eclipse launched into Early Access more than 3 weeks ago. Thank you SO MUCH for being a part of this journey and providing a lot of feedback! We read and analyzed all your comments thoroughly. Based on that, we’ve already released a few small updates, focusing on bug & crash fixing, and various UX-related features.

Today we’re proud to present you with the first full-fledged content patch for Dragon Eclipse - the Shadow Realm! As many of you have beaten the game on the highest difficulty level, this brand-new land offers an even greater challenge for the bravest ones.

Rest assured, this is just the beginning of our journey. We’re already working on new updates of similar size, and we plan to keep releasing them every 2 weeks.

Without further ado, let’s jump straight into it!
Discover the Shadow Realm
Embark on an eerie adventure through the Shadow Realm, which, for the most part, remains a mystery to humanity. It is said that every 1000 years, a double eclipse opens a portal to this world. Last time, the Dragon Guardians closed it at great cost, but they haven't appeared this time. It's up to you to dive into the realm, uncover its secrets, and close the portal for good!
Encounter new enemies
Prepare to face two new foes in the Shadow Realm:
 • Fungusmo: this enemy introduces a brand-new mechanic with its two phases. Don’t get too comfortable seeing it dormant.
 • Exalted Shadowling: another two-phase opponent. One of the phases renders your attacks useless. Or… does it?
Challenge a new boss
Meet Skitterpaw, the new boss of the Shadow Realm. Not to spoil too much, but you can be sure it’s very powerful, as it possesses the power to manipulate elements. This epic battle will test your skills to the fullest!
Blessings-related store changes
To add an extra layer of resource management, we’ve made some tweaks to the store & Blessings mechanics. For a small amount of Mystberries, you can now freeze a specific Blessing, ensuring it appears the next time. Additionally, the third Blessing slot is now locked and can only be unlocked by redeeming this slot.
Expanded hub story events
This one you’ll have to explore for yourself! In short, most Mystlings have received additional story events that expand their background and deepen the narrative.
Watch the official trailer for the Shadow Realm update to get a glimpse of what’s coming:
[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

Huge thank you to everyone who decided to give Dragon Eclipse a try. Your overwhelming support and feedback help us keep the development going, so continuous extra suggestions or requests are always welcome!

As announced, there’s tons of more content to come, so stay tuned for future updates!
