Patch v0.503.2 is live!

I’ve been testing the game on several configurations across Windows 10 and Windows 11, and I’d like to share a few important notes regarding memory usage:[/p][p]If your system has 16GB of RAM, it’s very important to close all unnecessary applications before launching the game - especially internet browsers like Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox.
Windows 11 in particular tends to reserve a significant portion of memory for background processes, which can leave less available for the game.[/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][h3]🛠️ Patch v0.503.2[/h3]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where a “ghost” selection remained after entering the empire map with a building selected.[/p]
  • [p]Optimized several large models and textures.[/p]
  • [p]Improved loading performance in late-game cities >> up to 50% faster.[/p]
  • [p]Reduced overall memory usage by around 8%, which should help reduce crashes on systems with 16GB RAM.[/p]

Patch Notes – v0.503.0[/p]
  • [p]Added around twenty new random events to Sandbox Mode, they’ll appear every few months in-game.[/p]
  • [p]Loading times improved by 20% thanks to optimizations to buildings and hedges.[/p]
  • [p]Rapid clicking on the +/- trade quantity buttons in the City Panel no longer opens the Stock Panel.[/p]
  • [p]Exiting the game is now much faster.[/p]
  • [p]Additional polishing for the French translation, along with minor fixes for several other languages.[/p]
[p]Coming October 27th:
A major update featuring new buildings, improved campaign and event systems, extensive polishing, and much more![/p]

Patch v0.502.8 is live!

[p]Hot Patch v0.502.8[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]This small patch fixes the lag that occurred in the later stages of the game, especially when players had multiple water reservoirs and added or removed buildings. The issue has now been resolved, and the lag should no longer appear.[/p]
[p][/p][p]A regular patch will follow in a few days, and the major update is coming on October 27th.[/p][p][/p]

[h2]🛠️ Patch v0.502.3 – Clearer Trading System[/h2][p]
This patch focuses on making trading clearer and easier to understand, especially when problems occur due to target quantities being set too low or too high.
[/p][h3] Changes & Fixes[/h3]
  • [p]Fixed incorrect portrait positions of children in the second generation on the Family panel.[/p]
  • [p]Added display in the Stock/Resource panel showing in which cities a resource is being bought or sold.[/p]
  • [p]Double-clicking on a traded resource in a city now opens the Stock panel with that resource automatically selected.[/p]
  • [p]Problematic resources in a city are now highlighted in red.[/p]
  • [p]Added a marker and hint above cities that have trading issues, to make it clearer what’s going wrong with trade routes.[/p]
[p][/p][p]A small update with events and improved aqueducts will be coming in a few days,
and the big update is still planned for October 27th, with new buildings on the way! [/p]

[h2]Patch v0.502.0 - Quick Weekend Fix[/h2][p]This is just a small weekend patch with a few important fixes and optimizations:[/p]
  • [p]Fixed several achievements - Bounty of Bay, Stone Age, Lumber for Rome, Treasury of Pompeii, and a few others couldn’t reach their max statistic values and therefore never triggered achievements properly.[/p]
  • [p]Reduced memory usage - in later stages of the game, memory consumption is now up to 25% lower, improving overall stability, especially on PCs with less RAM.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed localization errors in several languages.[/p]
  • [p]Optimized animated models for better performance.[/p]
